This is one of the best pieces of video game music ever-composed. And I'm saying that from a strictly objective perspective because I've never even played this game so I don't have that same nostalgia-love that others do. First, it establishes a memorable theme, then it develops it further and further into something complex and badass, never under-estimating the listener's intelligence. Take 1:09-1:28 you have 2 and even 3-part counterpoint. That's really complex, but it still sounds great.

My dad bought the first Halo for the PC and the first time he let me play it I was hooked. The music is what really drew me in and the whole atmosphere of the game was just amazing. I remember so many late nights I would be up in the nook under the stairs where we had the computer set up, headphones on and I would just play it for hours. Truly amazing series.

Its truly amazing how in 2000 we seen Halo CE as another first person shooter but i remeber when my cusin rented it from block buster for us to play for christmas eve. My cusins and I sat down in front of the Original Xbox and grabed a controller and played split screen on Beaver creek, Sidewinder, and Coagulation. After sitting there for a couple hours "ragging" on split screen we jumped on to the Campaign and played until the next morning. I hope everyone can remeber the first time they played

I started playing it at home, and finished the campaign in about a week (My playing sessions were about an hour or so). When I saw the ending, I was like OoO.
