  • this is so over whelming to watch. you know all of it, but it still hits right to my heart. praise the Lord for His infinite mercy and love. why are we afraid to speak up of what He did for us? Why aren't we telling everyone we meet of this amazing love, that they can share in?? the time is short. And Jesus deserves so much more then what I give day to day.

  • Praise the Lord! Thank you for working such a work in Josh so that he could remind others of the work You will do or are doing in our lives!!!!

  • Does anyone know where I can get a high quality copy of this video? We would like to use it one weekend at our church. Thanks!

  • U mad Joe? :3

  • @sapnyosentry You talkin' to me?

  • This video is not awesome, it is abject rubbish. Nobody did something for me 2,000 years ago. Get on with taking responsibility for your life, instead of delegating your responsibility to an imagined third party.

    Joshua is a con man.

  • This is awesome.

  • I really loved reading this in his book. This is powerful. I pray that more people--esp. teenagers--would read this.

  • It drove me to tears...

  • @ayeewhew ,,,without threat or ulterior motive..... Ten Advisements 1) Be trustworthy 2) Be fair 3) Be happy 4) Look at the past only for the good you can find there 5) Hold the present in your hands with contentment for that is your treasure 6) Look to the future only for the good you can make there 7) Give with grace, feel the reward inside 8) Accept what is given with grace, let others have the reward 9) Do not worship anything 10) Do not believe in the supernatural
  • @StrumstickJoe ..Don't believe in the supernatural? The supernatural happens everyday, even something common, like ethics. :) And your comments contain ethics. However, if you mean, don't believe in the BIG supernatural, then that too happens everyday around the world. I personally, am a walking miracle that Jesus healed! :D And if God has moved someone to tears, it's because He touched their heart with His enormous love!! He can supernaturally move in your life too, that is, if you want Him to.

  • @dieKoninginderNacht 2)… even if he had, no miracles, no divinity was ever shown. Only faith and belief survives in your mind from that terrible, violent, Iron Age existence, but we have moved on, and those days should now only be historical curiosity.

Nobody needs this imaginary friend. His book is an anthology of mythology: contradictory; largely vindictive; containing more than one god; genocide, mutilation and an overriding immorality.

My aim is to spread this information.

    Peace.

  • @StrumstickJoe I appreciate your concern for others, however, I am simply sharing my own experiences with you! :) I HAVE seen Jesus' healing power. I personally have been healed of a chronic illness no medicine could cure (yes I have doc.s to prove that) and seen M.S. healed, blind people seeing, deaf hearing, limbs growing out, dead babies/people coming back to life (and this is just things I've experienced). Doctors said my sister was never going to walk and she's walking right now! :D .....

  • @dieKoninginderNacht 1) (2nd attempt to reply) Look up supernatural… it never happens. Ethical behaviour occurs because humans, like other races, evolved with aversion to killing each other. God didn’t move anyone to tears! This smooth conman did!

I too have health issues. Why? Where’s the perfection of design? (99% of all the species that have ever existed have become extinct)

    JC never existed, and…

  • @StrumstickJoe (reply #2) ..I, personally, would never give my heart or my life to something that was false. Due to my nature, I don't just "accept" whatever. But through experience and proving them to be true I have found that 1) Jesus is real! 2) He is powerful! 3) He loves you and me!! These three things have tested true over and over again.

Honestly, after seeing these things I can't deny His reality, His power or His love. But I can choose to accept or refuse Him. That's all one can do. : )

  • @ayeewhew Tears? Seriously? It shows how ready you are to succumb to emotive tripe. Here's some advice - graciously given, without threat or ulterior motive.....

  • riiiiight...... i like enya!

  • This video brought me to the realization of how I have not done my best in this life I lead. I cried because of my guilt, my fear. I feel so enlightened now that I know what I have to do to be saved. Thank you very much.

  • i cried....so touching...

  • Very Nice

  • I love the story, it brings me to tears. But I think this video ruined it. It's lame.

  • id never known how much my sin costs.....until you came and paid it...thank u JESUS!!

  • Everyone can relate to this!

Our lives are recorded...we will fail at somthing in life..but Jesus is there to help us...

All we have to do is ask Him to forgive us, save us, and restore our lives to a true purpose of living...a new life of love, hope and promise...

  • I don't feel the need to cover up my actions. I think shame and guilt is used as a tool to manipulate people. I never understood the concept of sin until I realized that they were appealing to one's sense of guilt and shame. The reason why they depict the evil being Satan with having so much pride and wanting to be higher than god is to derail anyone who falls out of that guilt pattern they want to manipulate people with. It's kind of deceitful but I am trying to find a silver lining still.

  • How sad that you just don't get it. Christianity is not about covering up your wrongs. Its about the fact that Jesus was humiliated, suffered, bled, and died for you so that you don't have to feel shame and guilt. God doesn't want you to feel guilt over mistakes you've made and sins you've committed. He wants you to feel the overwhelming and unconditional love He has for you.

  • I get it because I am god.

  • no, not quite. i think "new age" is riddled with b.s. of its own kind, first and foremost being that it can be easily identified as new age by its general ethos. and it's a flightly, capricious fickle understanding and when i read a lot of new age literature it sounds superficial and lacking in understanding of what is essentially borrowed ideas.

  • Comment removed

  • borrowed ideas from where? Buddhism? I agree with you actually to a large extent. Whatever "new age" is, is borrowed ideas. Borrowed from Taoism, Buddhism, Occultism, and Hinduism. So how do you differ.

  • I understand these issues quite deeply, as I am human. Who doesn't have things they are ashamed of doing and saying, let alone thinking? If there is a person alive who has done nothing at all in life to be ashamed of (ie - never committed a wrong against another, used another, abused ones gift of life) please stand up. Thats right no one can. Only one can, in my opinion, and that is Christ. Guilt leads a person nowhere. Its not in living in guilt one finds freedom, its in accepting salvation

  • shame is a tool used to gain an upper hand in power struggles. anyone who is telling you there is shame to be had is trying to make you feel inferior to begin with. many humans do this for power and not out of love. therefore, i do not acknowledge this way of thinking at all.

  • Ok so if you kill someone or hurt another, or even shame another, or just judge another wrongfully, that is nothing to feel remorse over? Its not just shame that I speak of, its a realization of wrong. Thats what I am talking about. If a person realizes that there has indeed been wrong in their lives, that they are not the God of the world, but another neighbor in this world, then a real relating with another can begin. to repent is to realize ones own wrong.

  • If God is the true Lord of life, it is only right to honor him with his rightful place over ones own life. Its not about feeling bad about oneself but realizing ones rightful place in the world in relation to God, people and all things. Then love can shine through in the persons heart. I acknowledge you don't recognize Gods sovereignty over all things,I am not arguiing against you,but sharing here what I feel makes sense. If you don't agree, your opinion of the issue is likelyfor a good reason

  • i am simply saying, even agreeing with what you're saying, that it would be silly to be subserviant to myself. :) i've spoken to christians who cannot grasp the idea that their creator would come to earth and speak to them directly, although i have faith that you may realize the truth if you seek it.

  • I do not understand the statement you just made. What Do you believe or think about Christianity really? Do you follow Christ, or something else?

  • i went through a period where i experienced the christian heaven and later hell realities and i thought they were extremes compared to mundane "human" reality but soon realized these are minor relativties in comparison to what exists beyond those. i experienced "beyond heaven" which is as good as it sounds.

  • I am thinking what you meant was that Christ came to the earth to deal equally with humanity because he respects humanity or something like that. I'd say sure, Jesus was a servant to his disciples. He wanted people to have Godly love for each other. And to serve one another however they could. Its just that I believe he also died for our sins as we are fallen sinfully in the eyes of God.

  • in terms of falling sinfully, i think is in relation to how humans act out of vice or more specifically without taking into account transcendental accord. i do not think humanity is inherently evil, but i think allowing yourself to harp on past indiscretions is not the solution either. i just think humanity could be vastly improved. i am here to help with that.

  • Comment removed

  • also, you must understand the divisions in the religions is because each one is illustrating concepts that, when combined, form a composite of transcendental knowledge. it is necessary to separate the knowledge so that the overall message is not dilluted. you can disagree with this because you represent one piece of the knowledge, however, knowing the paradox of eastern and western thought on the same idea is important to seeing the paradox for what it is.

  • Comment removed

  • this isn't about religion - this is about being confronted with our need so that one knows in their heart they need Jesus - they need His Sacrifice- they need His Life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life. Call on Him and begin your relationship with Him...

  • I watched the video. I can only comment that religion makes people focus on what they are doing wrong, not what they are doing right. There is nothing more that limits the minds of people than organised religion. No bigger cause of wars. No bigger cause of suffering. As a whole religion is dangerous. But with a person relationship with god, now that is powerful. Non-destructive, non-boastful relationship between you and your creator. That has created no wars.

  • This is such a moving dream. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with the world. You have motivated so many people.

  • amen

  • Thank you for sharing this- a eye opening experience--

  • My church is doing this drama on Easter!

  • amen.

  • I remembered the first time I watched this video. Made me got onto my knees and prayed for I, myself, feel the same way. I can truly say... I am completely convicted of this dream and more motivated to make my relationship with God worth it all. God bless!

  • wow..I actually read this story.

    I was touched....

  • haha

the sheer volume of your life??!!

Youv'e been homeschooled your whole "life"

  • oops i meant to say poor comment

  • it is good for it shows us how important it is for us to repent our sins for a lot of sins are done everyday and that we should pay importance to the sufferings that jesus did for us and how the lord loves us so much that he wanted us to be saved and be delivered from evil.

  • I love this video...It really makes me think about what I have done and how God forgives me for those acts of sin.God is truly amazing.Thank You Josh for sharing this with the world!

    God Bless

  • The message from what Joshua wants to bring to people was so nice. It's something that every people in the world should known. God Bless Harris! More Power! I thought that this will be a way to know how God sacrificed just for us.

  • Well, you guys you didn't see nothing go see (IT's AWESOME!)

THE ROOM by Tommy Wiseau! THE ROOM MOVIE (website) by Tommy Wiseau! YOU WILL SEE! YOU WILL LEARN!

THE ROOM by Tommy Wiseau! AWESOME!

  • I'm not super crazy about this video, but the story is soul burning. Whenever I read it I do it out loud and cry every time.

It is so amazing because the reality of God's love is incredible!

Find it on google or something and print it out. Read it to someone whenever you get the chance. It's an awesome experience.

  • God Bless Josh Harris!

He has such a great message!

  • Thank God and thank Jesus for what He has done and WILL do. Isaiah said "It pleased God (the Father) to make His (Jesus, the son) SOUL an OFFERING for sin." Jesus poured out His SOUL unto death. He was the sacrificail lamb like in Exodus 12, the passover, and when His BLOOD is applied to our hearts door, we are covered and the death angel will pass over our soul unharmed, because HIS SOUL WAS THE OFFERING made for the propitiation of OUR SINS. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

  • Wow, I remember reading of this story in one of his books. So powerful.

  • To metalgee:Listen buddy,NOBODY betrayed Jesus. If you would know anything about Jesus and his death you should know that Jesus said that nobody takes his life,He gives it up freely. And we are not like leeches, because we don't steal His blood,Jesus gives it freely. And we just don't dump our sins on Jesus,Jesus gladly takes our sins from us.You would do good to ask Jesus to take your sins from you.

  • As you watch this clip, open your heart recieve TRUTH. Let your focus be on JESUS.May you hear and recieve more than just words recieve Christ.

  • It's apparent that you know nothing of Christianity or you would understand the metaphor of "cleansing in blood".

Perhaps you should read and learn before you spew such nonsense.

  • This was meant for metalgee

  • You, my friend, need to do a little more bible reading. Think about what you say before you say it.

  • it help me so much and the book he wrote boy meets girl..anointed book i definitily recomend it to all christians out there seeking FOR love THAT GOD'S WILL 4 HIM OR HER.

  • Joshua Harris *did* write it. Then were some stories going around about who did, but Joshua stated himself that he is indeed the author. I don't think he's lying--or that he would lie about something like that.

  • He did indeed write it...while it's most often attributed to a deceased teen Brian Moore, that was not the case...Moore merely plagarized it (I don't want to speak ill of the dead, so I'll leave it at that).

  • what a wake up call..

  • i dig this man. powerful.

  • his books are very inspiring and this video "dream" is so wonderful. God has inspired him to write his books and through those book we too are inspired and blessed. God bless you more Ptr. Joshua Harris! =)

  • "i kissed dating goodbye" is very inspiring...

  • This story was originally written for a Christian audience by Joshua Harris, in his book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye".

  • @bluetube23 Actually I think it was first published in a magazine in 1995 (two years before the book actually came out). In the 2010 copy of "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" he says as much,

  • oh, not Josh, but a 17 year old boy named Brian (that they said got killed in a carwreck), I have the email if you want to see it, I got it years ago.

  • me too . . . I have a copy of it from email

  • Uh, nope. Josh is still alive, he's the senior pastor of a church in Gaithersburg MD.

  • I heard that the kid who wrote that story was dead

  • So true, Only if I had the strength to live as He wants.

  • That was reall cool! Im listening to Jushua harris's audio book 'i kissed dating goodbye' i totaly recoment it!

  • Oh yeah? I'm planing to see the movie. :)

  • Well maybe when your soul wakes up from the blackhole of darkness and depression that you're wasting away in you will find eternal happyness and peace:)Remember there is only 1 road 2 true content...

  • So true my friend. It's time to wake up.

    Peace be with you
