Noel did join Liam, Bonehead and the others, but they were total shite before Noel joined and that's why Liam invited him to on board to be manager, but wanted to use his songs and they weren't going to w/o him being an actual member and revamping the band starting with the name and musical direction. Oasis is Noel's. Liam once said that he never liked the name Oasis, but you have to admit that it is better than the band's original name--Rain (puke).
