does anyone know how to bring up the blue bar when you hunt?? for some reason when i play on any wolf (even if im alpha) the blue bar is always low and i can nly kill beavers and hares. can anyone help me with this??

You can download the DOS or something box you need to play this game right? Would you reccomend it? It seems pretty fun, also, can you do like a free mode or is it always scenarios, does the game ever end or will it cut it off?

I have a question that might not be related to this there were humans close to the den were I was but after I confronted it there was no gun. it was just walking i tryed to click it but nothing then I died from a real hunter. so is it a harmless one if it has no gun?
If you want sound and music 1 you need dosbox and 2 go to your Wolf file in C:/ or D:/ depending on were you put it.Then find setup.A new window will open.There you need to set up your sound and music effects.
Hmm, been awhile since I've played. I really ought to pull it up again. I went and found the sound for you. Go to the folder that contains "Wolf." Look for "Setup.exe" and open it. That will bring up a prompt to change the sound settings.
it's really not all that hard, just time consuming. you have to be an alpha and just as it changes to the nine month mark in the timber and plains your mate with come to you ask want to mate. I'm not sure what it is in the tundra but its a little later. I've had two litters in the timber and its great fun having pups but they are hard to care for.
Mine doesnt have sound, only the music. And in the Options the OFF and ON buttons arent there.. Help?

DOSBox, yes, it is highly recommended.
Yes, simulation mode is available. You play endlessly until you've aged to the point can't survive the wild anymore.

You can't name the wolf you control, sorry. But you can name the pups you raise.

Ah ha! Went to the website for Dosbox, then to the FAQ and discovered that I needed to setup the sound so that it actually played sound effects. Yay.
