I only recently discovered that Alfred Eisenstaedt lived literally ten blocks away from me...in an apartment building! If I'd only known! I will have to go by and try to find a long term resident to see if they knew him. I have visited his grave on occasion to pay my respects.

He was really a top one in photojournalism.

He proved at that time with the high quality of the pictures took with a Leica it was the best camera ever in the world and still is.

No camera in today's market could make so beautiful Black & White picture.
