I been watching the news on Christian networks. All the news is about how Obama talked during this Prayer Breakfast. All Christians are being encouraged to support him after this admission!! They are saying that with him being a Christian, God will help him to take America in the right direction, and to not interfere in God's work! In other words, it looks like Obama has support from everyone now. News reports are saying that most Americans regret voting republican in the mid term elections!

His confessing to be a Christian, and links to this video is on several Christian web sites. It almost seemed like he might start shedding tears or something. This video may be turning around a lot of people who are Christians, and Christians are probably going to support him. Do you think that Obama would stoop low enough to talk like he did, just to get votes??

What a great speech! You can tell he really has a heart for God. I truly wish Australia's leader loved God like this! I hope all of Australia's leaders in the future have a heart for God like Obama does. It is wrong that people accuse him of not being a Christian.. @Exofluke Segregation is a much more negative term used to define a single group's exclusion from the rest of society. Obama isn't showing favoritism to Christians by doing this - he has given speeches to Muslim groups exclusively in the past as well. In an ideal America, all beliefs and opinions(even yours), religious or political, are equally appreciated. The thought that someone, even the President should not be allowed to state their own faith actually contradicts the first amendment.

Nothing of GOD is negative; it is always the constructs of man that are full of error and conflict. There is no confusion with GOD. The saddest truth is that only IF this "united" nation would follow the "request" of GOD to repent of wickedness, to pray, to call upon HIS name, would HE heal our land, but as usual, conflict and hate rule people. The government does not advocate any specific religion to operate the government under. The U.S. as even signed a treaty announcing it self as secular.
