Hey, this is great! I love your chord progressions. Can you post the actual chords (Im not trying to still your style but, MAN! YOUR FLAVOR IS AWESOME!!!!!)
Hey. Interesting idea but somewhere along the line u lost me. you said that the 3rd of Db is F then you said the 3 of F# is A. The F# chord in Db is a Maj7 so how does it become A?
So is it a situation where u can use either the minor 3rd or major 3rd. I'm looking at the 1st example about the F being the 3rd of Db. Are you saying then that the minor 3rd (E) could have been used instead of the maj 3rd F? Help!!!!!! i'm really eager to learn.
If the song is in the key of Db major, you can use the major 3rd, (which is played as a minor, because it's a minor in the scale degree), can be subbed for the one...BUT now it's a lead in chord going to the 6th!
EX:
5. AbEb / GbBbDbF___CBb / CEbAb___DbAb / Db
EX 2:
AbEb / GbBbDbF___CBb / CEbAb___FEb / ADbEbAb
Now that last chord in example 2 will lead into the: BbF / AbCC#F OR THE 6TH OF Db

The minor or flatted 3rd of F# is the A, sorry about that, I'm looking at it in the context of the F# key itself, not in relation of Db

This is great, could you possibly post how you play call and response songs such as "I'm a Soldier" and "Have you tried Jesus".
That'd be excellent, thanks
