  • Awesome fuckin fight

  • Para mí la mejor pelea de la historia del boxeo es: Ali-Frazier III en 1975 y la mejor pelea que vi yo hasta ahora fue De La Hoya-Quartey en 1996.

  • he is not from Hawaii....he is from Gen San.

  • best fight ever was arturo gatti vs micky ward and hagler vs hearns

  • Best Right hook in the business.

  • Just noticed that they hardly wore any padding around the waist in the old days. You must have extremely fit abs to weather the punches to the body.

  • @arroyoko

Did you notice the 16-ft ring ? LOL

  • kuhol vs pokwang

  • best fight ever was pacquiao vs morales II

  • nonsense, there have been so many great fights you simply cannot pick one. How about, Diego Corrales Vs Jose Luis Castillo or ali Vs frazier 3

  • the best box fight ever was the "war"! marvelous marvin hagler vs thomas the hitman hearns, search for it, its on youtube!

  • The Greatest Fight Ever if you just got here from another planet or the moon

In what cave have you people live for the past 50 years this fight is not even close to a good fight but its an ok show of good boxing skills. so guys get your head out of the sand and be for real.......

  • its probably the guys father, uncle or friend. leave him alone.

  • One of the best Filipino Boxing KNOCKED OUT!!!

  • Best fight ever my ass.

Boza himself took part in a much better fight, his 2nd fight v Chacon, way way better than this, way better.

Chacon-Limons 4th fight blows it away also & of course the king of all fights... Morales-Barrera I, much better also.

  • left to the gut froze Boza and a brutal rt. hook buried him.

  • besides wilfredo gomez and Ali does anyone have a bigger heart than Boza?

  • mga tol ... kahit na anong nangyari kay navarete ngayon..dapat ay i-puri parin siya ..minsan nagbigay siya ng pangalan sa Pinas....

  • I dont think its a greaat fight ever, Every fighter should fight this much leavel please i suggest you change the topics name. thankx, if u wanna see a real great fight then message me i ll send you the link, you'll be frezzed if you say this is great.

  • damn, that was a great fight -- both of those guys were skilled, game, and hungry to win

  • nowhere near the best fight ever! chacon v edwards 2,chacon v limon 4,chacon v frias,mancini v kim,gatti v robinson 1 and 2,McCauley v bassa,chavez v taylor,leonard v hearns and tons of others are all tons better

  • u forgot butterbean vs. larry holmes

  • The Bad Boy from Dadiangas strikes again!!!

  • was it a right hand that knocked edwards?

  • overrated!

  • not the best fight ever, but makes me miss shows like Wide World of Sports even more, when you could follow a fighter without the aid of the internet or having PPV every fight. I know there's Friday night fights, but boxing belongs on Saturdays, right after cartoons :)

  • this sucks

  • Its a shame to say that it is the best fight ever, its just a way to get attetion, you cant forget so many others . that its so hard to mention wicht its the best.

  • As a rule...if anything says "The Best Ever"--it generally means that it is the opposite

  • "Navahreetay!" LOL cant say his name right lol

  • Not the greatest fight ever. But a good one.

  • agreed.

  • I saw Rolando fight in Hawaii in 1979. He was amazing!

  • Navarette, I almost forgot about him, great fighter from the PI, nobody gave him a chance to beat Edwards, but he did.

  • Very good but not the best ever. Checkout Fenech/Nelson 1.

  • He is the bad boy Tyson during his time. Good fighter with an attitude. KOd kimself with his lousy personal habits.

  • suck his balls1975tooto

  • Navarette did not last long!!Even though Edwards lost this was the beginning of his warrior days.He was never in a dull fight!! I really miss this guy.He was also a true gentleman in and out of the ring!!

  • BAGSAK ANG NEGRO!!!

  • mabohay si nabariti

  • he used to be great boxer. but did nt know he could fight like this one...but in his own highnest braggness...he ruined his carrer.

  • Great boxer...BAD role-model

  • Navarette was great. His only problem was he couldn't take a punch. Actually, that was a big problem. But damn could he fight.

  • He used to be one of the best, before he turned into a drunkard and addict. He is a best example of a Gold than turned to dust.Success turned him into a rapist and so on....Filipinos loved him so much before he ruined his life.SAYANG!

  • I thought Navarrete was a Mexican. He is tough!!!!

  • He's a tough Filipino SOB with a notorius out-of-the-ring reputation indeed!

  • was in philippines when pac man took it was awsome fight and crazy mayhem lol, want too communicate just say ya pacman paqaio lol can spell it but they know lol have friends immediatly lol and still was great fight and this is too

  • Boza Edwards was one tough SOB. I remember watching this fight as a kid. For Navarette to beat him, well, it was a HELL of an accomplishment. I also remember Bazooka Limon trying cave Rolando's rib cage into. Great fights!

  • sorry for navarette

  • Fuck it

Bisayans rule Boxing.. Pacquiao, Ganoy, these boiiz are da ONLI boxers who are tha shit right now.. Jimrex aint dat great, nd condes won by luck, amonsot got Blood Clot...

    so yer...

  • cubans are the kings of boxing

  • nakatikim si nognog ng kamao ng noypi.... haha!

  • ya..pinoy rules in that time..

  • tangang commentator taga honolulu hawaii taga capiz yan eh hehehe!

  • ROLANDO NAVARETTE IS AWESOME!!!

  • nyakkk.....hawaiii daw???

  • AHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!! you think this guy is good?!! he lost 15 times and lost to Rafael Limon an okay mexican boxer. i can see why u flips make such a big deal about pacman. too bad pac will get schooled by marquez!

  • Pac Man is a Filipino of course we be routing for him. Wont you route for your own kind to? Your Logic Eats itself.

  • yah...thats right, laugh! marquez almost got beated by barrera & pacquiao just snoked barrera! not 2 mention that was the 1st fight pacquiao fought in 130lbs division. pherydust ur a dumb! dumb!

  • just wait for rolando navaratte's son. he is something for sure.

  • u sure that his son gonna box?i never heard of that....

  • it was shown on TV one time. He was training his son at the age of five (?), really very young but the kid already showed he got what it takes. The nickname is Nog. Just don't know where is he now. That was 3 or 4 years ago.

  • @headsetmaniac Rolando Navarette Jr is tough, I saw him in our amateur fight last year.

  • Please post all the Navarette fights you have. How about his with Bazooka Limon and others? Thanks for posting this btw!

  • I don't want to see the Bazooka Limon fight, Lando suddenly dropped from just one light punch after dominating Limon for 12 rounds. Looked like a mafia won for Limon.

Better to watch is his first defense against Choi Chung-Il at the Araneta coliseum. 1982 was the year.

  • Where can I watch Navarrette's fight with Choi Chung-Il? I remember watching that fight as a kid in the Philippines.

  • wtf? 5 fps? Can't see sh t. Great video skills, lol. Deserves a 1 but I give it 3 because of the fight itself. Please learn how to make videos.

  • yeah your right! no mexican can ever beat pacman for this time!hahha. i really love to see mexican would fall down from his powerpunches

  • @headsetmaniac

im pretty sure julio cesar chavez during his prime would knock him out

  • why did you put the title the greatest fight ever? just curious.

  • because this fighter could be the most famous pinoy boxer ever if he was manage well.this fight is his first champ title

  • i watched this fight live when i was in gradeschool. one of my brothers is a former boxer in the bantamweight division and he is a great fan of navarette, and so am I. Well, you are entitled to your own opinion but i dont think that he could have been the most famous pinoy fighter. Basically because he has a soft chin and doesnt move well in the ring, but that's just my observation and opinion.:-) Great video anyway.

  • @headsetmaniac

    Lando was managed real well.

Problem was he drank too much.

  • he put that because the filipinos always over exaggerate their few accomplishments. look at all the Pac crap hoopla.

  • you must be mexican. well, not all Filipinos over exaggerate and i'm one of them. And i dont think Pacman is crap. It's just maybe because we Filipinos have not have a boxing champ for a long time until Pacman arrived. Sincerely, I think Pacman will beat a lot more good Mexican fighter than any other boxer.

  • All apologies magdaragat71. Very well put and cool to see at least one of you tell it the way it is. I only put those comments for the knuckleheads like headrestmaniac. Pac is a good champion and exciting to watch, time will tell if he becomes a great and/or legendary champion!

  • Thanks and God Bless!!!

  • alright then, decking el terrible 5 times and barerra 3 times and marquez 3 times and lots of Mexican warriors is a few accomplishment.

  • Rolando Navarette is Manny Pacquiao's inspiration in entering boxing. The Philippine Government should help him because he bring honor to our country.

  • This is one of 3 navarrete's fight i have looking for...the other is vs Alexis Arguello and the other one is vs Rafael "Bazooka" Limon...

  • Navarrete could have been one of the greatest fighters from the Philippines if not for his "extra-curricular activities" that eventually landed him in jail where I think he spent the best years of his life as a boxer...
