@Winxfairylove I recorded it using the in-game recording tool. In 'The Sims 2' and 'The Sims 3', there is a camera button that you click to begin recording. You can also press 'V' to do this as well.

A easier way is in the asperation rewards get the weather machine.Then press on it and click on weather then click snow.Then leave like that for about 3 days.

And don't play in strangtown, whenever I try and get snow in a dessert place like that it doesn't seem to work.

Maybe you didn't select Winter in the seasons selecter, or maybe you just have to wait until Winter comes to your Sims' neighborhood.

The "snow" is custom terrain. You can only have real snow if you have Sims 2 Seasons installed.
