Multiple flaws on dark eldar side like the lord with incubi when actually if u put archon on reaver with agoniser (wounds on 4+ power weap) and shadow field (2+ inv) he can spounge up tau firepower then get into combat unscathed

You don't control objectives when you go to ground, since you're pinned.

The talos doesnt give armour saves does it? I thought the claws on it ignored those saves?

It does indeed ignore Armour Saves, because it is a Monstrous Creature. However, the Shield Drones taking the hits have 4+ Invulnerable Saves. Even Monstrous Creatures can't punch through that.

something for the DE player to consider, is that dark eldar actually thrive quite a bit in close combat, their transports are perfect for being set up to get them in the thick asap, high initiative high ws(for basic troops), they simply dont have the armour or firepower to be shooting it out with much of nething but orks maybe lol, good game tho!

Dark Eldar really are a glass hammer army: they can deal lots of damage, but cant take any in return. It really shows in this battle: even though the Tau won, it was close all the way down to the final shot.

One important tips for the DE user:

At 7:40 you dice a 3 on the W6 and

then you dice just 3 attacks!

The Talos gets everytime a +1 bonus on its attack

remember that!

Last game I played aganist tau I killed 60% of his army in 1 turn and lost nothing and there wasn't really that much luck on my part another than a raider passing alot of 4+ cover saves.

In the Warhammer 40k game, all the codexes are fairly balanced, so it mostly depends on the player controlling them.

In my personal opinion, Chaos Space Marines are a much more interesting codex. Dark Eldar, while having a lot of interesting choices, are more restricted in what you can choose if you want a good army.

In addition, the Dark Eldar are probably getting a new codex in a year or two, whereas the Chaos codex is fairly new in comparison.

If I were starting a new army now, I'd choose Chaos Space Marines, and get Dark Eldar when they are re-released.

Imperial Guard if you are a dick and stock up on tanks. A standard Leman Russ is 150 points and comes with a battle cannon and hull mounted heavy bolter as standard. You can add side sponsons, but you don't really need to since you can still move six inches and fire your main turret as well as one other main weapon. Plus their troops are really cheap on points. Same with Chimera transports.

I have played Warhammer 40k for far longer than my buddy Norau. He is improving his game rapidly.

I have Space Marines, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Tyranids, Necrons, Chaos Space Marines and Witch Hunters. My next army will most likely be Imperial Guard.

That's a difficult question! So many things to consider; models, background, competitiveness, etc.

My favorite armies at the moment are Chaos Space Marines and Eldar.

I love the Eldar for their ability to zoom around for several turns, before surgically disabling the enemy for the win in the last turn.

Likewise, I dig the CSM for the endless possibilities in their codex and their rock hard, but diverse, troops.

Also, the models in these armies are pure awesomeness and a pleasure to paint!

Haha, sure that's the way to roll in a competitive setting.

The games I put on YouTube are all friendly games against less experienced players than yourself.

You also have to take into consideration that the army Norau (my opponent) plays consists of every model he has.

This is also true for my Dark Eldar. I always tend to use a multitude of different units rather than spamming the most cost-effective choice. I find the games to be more fun this way.
