If they were too busy being productive and/or creative doing their own thing, they wouldn't have the time to falsely criticize others efforts.
@jy122 I beg to differ on that. The drumming is spot on with the recording. I also play this in church with a click so the timing of this song is imprinted on me. You'll have to share where in the song the timing is off for your comment to be taken seriously.
@rhythmantic i actually in vestigated that by playing it on two different computers at two diferent houses and it was the same outcome. i even had the sound guy at my church watch it and he agreed with me that in the beginning of the song YOU ARE RUSHING so suck it up and take the fact. im not saying that you are bad so stop being so defensive. you are a good drummer. im just telling you that in the beginning of the song YOU ARE RUSHING.

@SamCoops95 Best tip I can give to learn drumming is to play along with your favorite music, that's how I first learned, then go from there by learning how to read so you can then learn technique, coordination, endurance, etc. Check out those who teach on You Tube and/or the internet. The teacher Tommy Igoe comes to mind.

I just played this song for the first time in front of my congregation and it went really well. As a beginner drummer your video along with others game me great confidence to play live in front of people even though I have not had any formal training.

I am trying to learn new worship songs by trying to play as close to the original song before I add in my own parts, do you think that is the best way for a beginner drummer to learn new songs. Also could you recommend some worship songs that are not to technical and easy to learn. Keep up the good work.
@acorder2006 I think that is the way to do it as you state, learn what's on the recording, the timing, groove, etc., then make it your own. That's how I learned and most other drummers.
Here I Am To Worship, Everlasting God, How Great Is Our God, are songs that are simple enough that come to mind. Thanks, I hope that my videos serve you in learning the drums.
