Urgh, jeez, some ignorant assholes on here. Don't listen to them. I know exactly what you're going through. I've had graves for 8 years now, since I was 12. My eyes looked almost exactly like yours here, but I've been on medication for a really long time and I'm planning on surgery. It will eventually get a little better. Don't stress too much, you're gorgeous. And don't listen to the mean fucks on here that say stupid shit. You're beautiful. :)

My family thought I had a tumor in my head when I told them the protrusion of my left eye. They cried whole time. That night, I prayed to God that if he let me survive this, I would live a meaningful and productive life. God answered my prayer. The next day, CAT scan result showed there is no tumor in my head. I'm glad what I had is Thyroid Eye Disease instead of brain tumor. I felt ugly and self conscious for a while. But my eye recovered over the years. God is with us.

ive had both eyes operated on at same time at morfields hospital in london, and would recommend to anyone to have it done, theres no pain involved in this operation, i had a two and three quarter decom on right eye and two wall decom on the left eye, pressure pads after op are bit uncomfordable but thats it , again have it done , youll get your face back and stop thinking everyone is staring at you . thanks dean.

I have grave's disease too. You're beautiful. -hugs- Is there anything they can do about the eye part of grave's? I have noticed in the past year my left eye seems to be getting bigger.. I'm losing vision.. yet my endo ignores me when I bring it up :( Would a normal eye doctor be bale to help me. I'm so lost on what to do -.-

I'm 48 and had a tumor behind one eye, roughly the size of a golfball. I had it removed on Friday, as it had pushed one eye forward 4mm. I had it removed because it was growing, although non-cancerous. You are remarkably pretty and I just wanted to tell you - from experience - that it is much worse inside your head than out. Please don't let it take anything away from you. You don't deserve any less joy or love because of it.
