Wow. I can really hear the emotion in this lady's voice. I don't know the language, I just read the text. But I love hearing how she feels through some of what I can hear in her voice. This is powerful.
Any reason why Egyptians pronounce Ja as Ga....as in Yaum Al Jumma is prounounced as Yaum Al Gumma....I though Arabic is same every where the accent mght differ but pronouncing the words in a completely different way is new :)
dear beloved commenters ..please, if u don't know arab's culture or never been living with arabs neighbourhood at least 3 days, don't be so pessimistic on what this man had said, enough~, although im not an egyptian,but living with egyptians for more than 2 years until now has make my mind really CLEAR on what this man emphasized~ peace! viva masr~
Thank you for all the Subtitled Egyptian coverage!!. Check out another supporter of the protesters--it's a good gesture from an american cat:.... CAT SUPPORTS EGYPTIAN PROTESTS
the compassion that this man shows is an example to all: compassion to the army, compassion to his interrogators , compassion for all people caught up in a situation that has caused grief. It is a higher view.
this boy is really silly he had been saying im a son of noble family and i have made a magestirate of phd or whatever.. and if i was not patriotic i would have stayed in my villa in Dubai and stuff... ok ok we know ure rich and a noble guy
@hasoanaa no he's just showy yes he's a big actor and a very showy guy.. notice when he said" from my depression i started to sing " Dream with me" or "e7lam ma3aya" its a song .. few know about it.. i bet astronomical number of people starting searching the song on youtube after he advertisied about it... if he was a regular.. he would have said at least" i started singing desperate songs"- why would someone say a name of a song that he likes without being asked?!
@alyelhadad Dude go sleep in the corner somewhere. The guy got prisoned for his country 12 days for wanting change.What did you ever do for your country? Let me guess nothing sa7 ?Go see his video when he got captured you'll see what I am talking about,also go see his facebook page elsheed.
are U jealous?dont be, he had not been sleeping for days and was maybe tortured but he has to keep that secret, would you be behaving better????? the wholeyoung generation of the globe admires his honesty
@alyelhadad dont worry U dont have to admire him :) it is a free world, anyway Ghonim is great guy! and I hope in Egypt the blood sucker mubarak and his henchmen will get expelled and their wealth givenback to Egyptian people.
@MathReaper123 yes he's a big actor and a very showy guy.. notice when he said" from my depression i started to sing " Dream with me" or "e7lam ma3aya" its a song .. few know about it.. i bet astronomical number of people starting searching the song on youtube after he advertisied about it... if he was a regular.. he would have said at least" i started singing desperate songs"- why would someone say a name of a song that he likes without being asked?!
rastaquere: is it not because that the people are rising as one, not in the name of one man, that makes it strong? Also, how does denying your emotions, make you a good leader?
Wael is very real, honest, in this interview. He is not hiding behind a political mask. He also does not want to be the leader.
Also;
“many, many people” had resolved to join the demonstration “because of what they saw on TV last night.” NY Times
Too bad Wael appears so emotional (probably mentally tortured by 8 days on a chair with a blindfold). This revolution needs stronger leaders or it's going to slowly fade away behind the perceived failed idealistic goals of an unprepared youth movement....
Hey Marc - it'd be a good idea to link the three parts together from inside the video itself using annotations with links. Let me know if you need help with that.
Good luck to all the people from Egypt. The tyrants are so used to silence the voice of their people that when it's finally heard, it sounds deafening.
