Caleb: YES it *IS* called football in England and France , fussball in Germany, voetbal in Holland and futbol in Spanish, and 足球 in chinese. ONLY the silly americans call ANOTHER sports football, a sports where mainly hands (?!) are used and for some reason they call the real sports where you kick a ball with your feet.."soccer". Suckerrrrrs!
@veerleke ummm we call our sport football because the ball is a foot long ( hence football)... which actually makes more sense then your sport being called football since your allowed to use both feet not just one, maybe it should be called feetball to be more accurate. You sir just got owned by a dumb american.
@Epimpin101 Not a sir, but this is the best answer yet this lady got in the football/soccer debate from an american :) Still not convinced, i'm from the team where size doesn't matter most, lol. Anyway tx for sending me back to this vid after such a long time it really makes me smile! Feetbal..why not ..
@veerleke Actually the term soccer comes from England Mr. brilliant. Soccer used to be used with hands. When they changed the rules to the gay rules we have today where no hands are used British started calling it soccer whilevariations of the old version called rugby football and American football kept the hands as well as footwork.
LOL!
