dude, the left hand, is supposed to be played more deadly, and i think you need to work on this piece, youre dismissing rythm, but anyway, im still trying to perform this song, so i like how you played it =P
Would really like to hear you play this piece now and on a better piano. Should you do so, please send me a note. (Betcha you got it down pat by now!)
ahhhh your left hand is killing me!!!! What happened to strong, weak, weak? There is much more that could be done with your performance of this song. Keep working on it. :)
Great video! Man, a tripod would have been nice for this one.. that camera moving around through the entire piece isn't very conducive to watching classical piano playing!
very good playing..tune your piano...work on your pedal work.,your fingering, and you have some notes that were wrong haha but still sounded good...keep up the work..love to hear people play. gettin back in to it myself so will have some videos in a few months or so
Beautiful, my favorite piece! But, is it the piano or me, because I think your fingers are keeping on the keys too long, I think the piano is tuned out. But it's abolutley great. And thanks for slowing it down, now I can copy how you did that! Great! It isn't as best as what cubusdk had played but it's good. And you were starting to fgo a bit fast later wards. Anyways, it's great!
sorry, but you don't play it too well. It's not the style the chopin wanted it. your left hand plays the chord too heavily, and on the runs, dont play it that slow the whole time. your ending was the worst!
Amazing job! Everbody plays this piece way too fast. I like how you didn't go TOO fast. I'm starting to play this piece and am very excited becuase it sounds so beautiful. Love it!
@DoctorGradus Actually the Opus 64 No. 2 is dedicated to Mme. la Comtesse Delphine Potock.
The Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52 was composed in 1842 in Paris and Nohant, and revised in 1843. The work was dedicated to Baronne C. de Rothschild, wife of Nathaniel de Rothschild

calm down Some people pronouce the name Chopin as Shopen, just cuz he couldn't spell it doesn't mean he's a retard you just spelt it the way he heard it. Maybe even in Poland thats how they spell the name.
a friend of mine has play this waltz in a concert and i think you did play it better than him. i like that ritenuto at the end, very well done. and the use of the pedal at the beggining, i know its pretty hard in this piece, but you did it really well. congrats, man. :)
ohh my god. im really jealous at how well you played that. ive learned that piece. i can go that fast but it sounds no where near as how well you played it. Great job!!!
this was dedicated to the rothschilds? doesn't sound evil enough. it bascially sounds the same as every other chopin song i've heard. nice job though.

Wow your good! Do you think you could post a video of Waltz in A-flat Major, Op. 64 No. 3? I tried looking for it on youtube but it appears there is no video for it. This surprises me because I hear it was one of Chopin's favorite pieces. It's almost as if no one has ever heard of it.
FREKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! man, you must of had a lot of practise, especially by memorizing this 6 page song!! I'm supposed to play this to, but it's gonna take me a long time to actually play it like you do!
its actually only 3 pages because they repet after the middle. its not really that hard of a valse, i learned it in under a month and im going to play it for an upcoming recital
hey man, very nice! timing and intonation very very good! nice! but you should realu start out much softer so you differ a little you're already at the top volume of the piano when you start. If you achieve that it'll be second to rubinstein or whoever for that matter :)
Very good. You show that you understand this waltz. However, it needs a bit of polishing. The figuration with the grace notes also needs a bit of work. But all in all, you perform this waltz well.
It was good, practice the pedal, especially when you get to the fast part. The fast part is supposed to sound like a river flow...gentle, but fast at the same time. you have to hear all the notes, but sometimes you drown out certain notes which play a very important part to the music. mainly, practice the pedal, because ur playing is good, another thing is to slow down just a little bit and maintain a steady tempo, because i noticed that you were playing a bit faster in the middle.
I liked: The way you actually seem to feel the music, and sway along, like you actually enjoy it. Also the speed was to my liking, lots of people play way too fast, I think you did it just right.
You are probably the first person who took some initiative into slowing down at the end - a nice touch :D
I just learnt the piece, its hard and you have done a great job =D
actually you know on second thought i take take my original comment back.. should'nt have said anything without being versed with the peice or atleast looking over the score. you're right im wrong.. sorry.. settled.. i take back the reply aswell
oh..thrill me with your acumen...."in an attempt to sound like a prodigy"?
this is preposterous, and has never been my intention....maybe you should go on and read my comments on other people's comments before being judgmental....your ears might not be virgin but your brain surely is.
Its good, but theres parts like at the end of the pui lento section where you randomly speed up, then slow down again for the eighth notes (they seem slower than the quater notes) and then finally speed up again in the next section
I know how hard this piece is from experience, so I can understand why you might be frustrated with criticism. But my idea was that you did not use enough expression. But otherwise great!
Guys... piu mosso means a little bit more, flowing, so play this section however you want as long as its faster than the stuff before it. and the piece is rubato, which means he can play it whatever speed he wants. but you do need to stop chopping the notes in the left hand in the pie mosso section. hold them for a fraction of a second longer. oh, and by the way, piu lento is a little bit slower, so sloooooow it down. SHOW THE RESTS!!!!!!!! NO PEDALING IN THE RESTS!! GAAA!!!
you need use the pedal switch at each measure . read your music . it`s a wAltz SLOW DOWN . I REPEAT SLOW DOWN . THAT SNOTHER REASON WHY IT SOUNDS SO SKIPY you need to learn how to combine both of those elements at thesame time so that blend . and the piu mosso relax your hands and then your shoulders too , and extend your shoulders out like bird , read yourmusic . `M ONLY THIRTEEN and i can give you alot of tips go to my page o.k .. but you got guts and i like that peace ana
super

A bit harsh. I would love to be able to play this. I have heard this played with much less heart. A few wrong notes is good. Shows we're human :)

It seems good but it doesn't give any emotion to me. You need to feel Chopin's Soul and you are far from that.

maybe you are right...i don't like this recording myself...many wrong notes and some showing off perhaps..

Guys... piu mosso means a little bit more, flowing, so play this section however you want as long as its faster than the stuff before it. and the piece is rubato, which means he can play it whatever speed he wants. but you do need to stop chopping the notes in the left hand in the pie mosso section. hold them for a fraction of a second longer. oh, and by the way, piu lento is a little bit slower, so sloooooow it down.
