I was never a big fan of Shadow with guns. Why use a ranged weapon that's slower than you are? As far as an actual weapon goes, swords make more sense. Otherwise, the guns are only useful as tools for breaking down the tougher defenses, like thick steel doors.

Vehicles are equally useless. They're only useful on harmful terrain, like massive pools of acid sludge. Otherwise, there's no point to resorting to slow forms of transport.

As a hardcore Sonic fan since Sonic the Hedgehog on since Master System, Shadow is one of the most bad ass characters in the series and a personal favorite of mine. Personally I loved Shadow the Hedgehog, despite the shitty camera and the gun wasn't so bad once you realized you weren't playing Sonic.
