Omg my heart was literally racing while you did this! Hahaaa!!! I agree, it's suitable for popping to the shops or to drop the kids off to school, but it's not what I'd wear for work/ going out, and there's not enough layering to make it last very long- I just know that the eyeliner would be smudged on me after a couple of hours, especially at work! I have a similar make up routine that I've used for years now for when I'm getting ready in the morning and don't have much time. It takes about the same amount of time as this but I don't use powder or highlighter (I spend a little time filling in my brows as even though I've got dark hair they're a bit gappy so look uneven if I don't). I'm going to try your look it looks a little more made up then mine and I think it'll probably last longer.

as far as smudging the liner , skip the q tip and just use a liner that has the smudger on the other end. everything else turned out great though. thank you for the tutorial.

But I can't do it in 5 mins. I spend 5 in foundation, so in total is 10 min aprox. But the look is really good, because everytime i have it on, i get complements. I think the key is the highlight.

This is pretty much my daily routine, because I have ultra sensitive skin and cannot put foundation on everyday, I do these basic steps. The only thing that I swap out is the foundation, again I can't wear foundation everyday. I do put on some mascara even it if is a one shade. This is super easy for me considering that I'm always on the run. Thumbs up to your hubby that was willing to even do this video! AWESOME!

What a great idea! I definitely think it takes too much time for me to put on makeup. I'm so careful with my foundation and concealer. I just want to be sure I don't put too much on. I also think I spend too much time putting on eyeshadow because I want to get the shape as perfect as possible. It looks like such a good technique for a 5 minute face but I doubt I could do it if I didn't have someone next to me. Perhaps a 10 minute face is the most feasible look for me :)

i left the other comment while still watching the video. i also wanted to add that i almost had a heart attack, it seems so rushed doing a 5-minute face. it takes me that long to put on moisterizer, primer, under-eye stuff, and foundation!! then another 15 at least to do my eyes. yikes!!

i do like this look on you, though it's more of a no-makeup-makeup-look. i know you like more color on your face and me, myself, love bold colors on my eyes. nice look, but don't think i'd try it. thanks!!
