  • after review a few thousands videos and explications how to install a wind turbine this is the right way to explain how do it right and safe. like a teacher!!

congratulations and thank you so much, we need more people like you, posting videos on line.

  • @aleleogori1 Glad that it was useful to you!

  • Is their another way to get power from a windmill to yourhome without using stupid batteries?

  • @guitaristwagner Sure, you can buy some grid tie inverters for wind turbines or buy a wind turbine that already comes with a grid tie inverter

  • @econewpower I know this question was from a long long time ago. But if i did buy this inverter as i saw on amazon .com, it looks like u just plug it into a regular ac outlet so how would lthis charge my house through a random outlet without burning my house down because of all the elctricity thats pumping into the outlet?

  • @guitaristwagner I don't know what grid-tieinverter you're talking about, so your best bet is to contact the seller of the grid-tie inverter and ask them. Make sure you're looking at a grid-tie inverter and not a regular inverter. Thanks

  • yea live in a constant 24/7 windy conditions. absolutely impossible!!!!

  • hi can you grid tie system video and photo to download

  • man im so confused...some sites showing directly from the turbines to the batteries then to the charge controller, why so many ways to hook up, also you mentioned in a different video that 12 volt was better for low wind conditions...why?

  • @toddac1 Depending on the charge controller you use, some may require you to connect the turbine to itself first and then from the charge controller to the batteries. Other charge controllers simply allow you to connect your turbine to the batteries directly and they simply dump the excess power when the batteries are full. Going to 12v was better initially because we had low winds which allowed the turbines to get to 12 volts easily, getting to 24v requires more wind speed.

  • @johnzo420 Glad you think so brother. I hope it is of benefit to you and yours in the future. God bless you in all your efforts.

  • Like the video. Nice DYI explanation

  • thats kinda where were headed ive got the batteries except we are gonna just go ahead and get a 24 volt controller and set the panels up in series and charge the batteries im just gonna start setting things up soon as i can sell some calves ill buy two more panels and an inverter and start changeing the house over I like samlex inverters thx for the info ive learned alot from your videos this seems to be the best place for those of us who are trying to diy ttyl

  • And it was not ebay

  • @jocomag4 Try this, get a couple of marine batteries, connect them in series to get 24v. Then connect one solar panel to the posts of one battery and the other solar panel to the posts of the other battery. Each panel will charge its own individual 12 volt battery, but the sum of the battery voltage will be higher than 24v. Then connect the positive of one battery and the negative of the other battery to the 300 watt inverter. I should put out around 230-250 watts. What do you think?

  • i bought it as a kit from i wont say who because there has been alot of contraversy about their products on here already but my plan is to get a windmax and ill just use the panels its my own fault i should have payed more attention its only producing half but it still helps we arent big power consumers anyway thx for the info and i love your vids keep up the good work. Oh and by the way he told me this was a complete system balanced to give optimum performance. Thx

  • @jocomag4 I'm sorry they misrepresented the product in such a bad way, the internet if full people trying to take advantage of us that are trying to go green. I myself bought three of those 300 watt inverters, all of them failed within a year, no chance to return them. I've also been had with those PMA wind turbines, the hornet blades and the Ametek motors...all junk. So I feel your pain my friend. I'll follow up with an idea for you.

  • i have 2 sun130 watt panels 22.6 voc hooked to a 300 watt micro inverter but i am only getting 145 watts it says 30 volts max i bought it as a kit am i right these are 12 volt panels i have them wired paralell should they be in series to get better out put

  • @jocomag4 You should get your money back from whoever sold it to you. Those cheap 300 watt inverters from China are rated at 28v, they won't produce 300 watts at anything below that. You have 12 volt panels whose open circuit voltage are 22.6 v, if you connect them in series you will fry that inverter (I know, I did that with one just like yours). Your best bet is to get another inverter and have one panel per inverter or get a UL1741 real inverter. Sorry for your trouble - eBay is full of fraud

  • Thanks for the Vid I think a lot of people have been waiting for something like this I have, if more people would go through there systems like this the better at least WE can understand everything.

Once again BRILL video keep them coming

  • @M0AOV Glad you find it useful, I hope to have more time soon to follow up on the videos. I have to figure out how to make the drawings available for you to download at will so you can see them better. Don't yet know how to make link for that...

Thanks for your comment and take care

  • Thank You for taking your time to explain this. GOD Bless You!

  • @u2nvme Your welcome, I hope your project goes well. Thanks and God bless you too.
