We have lots of this bird in the jungles here in the Solomon Islands, hence its breeding ground, native to the Islands. I wish people stop allowing loggings that destroy breeding grounds for this type of parrot and many others...

She was fed just as you see in the video. Never used a syringe only centrifuge tubes, first a 15 ml and then a 50 ml (in the video) We fed commercially available baby parrot food.

i have a male solomon island eclectus he is 8 weeks old its very hard to handfeed him at this age can you tell me did u had a problem feeding with syringe around this age and what did u put the formula in? thanks

What a pretty bird. I preffer thse over the green eekies. So, Was that formula/food 107 degrees. Is that the going rate for temps with chicks?
