That cover was horrific... two people playing the guitar and they didn't even play in the right tuning, or get his riff down right. I've seen about 5 solo covers of this song on youtube, hell even one on the piano that tops teh queens of stone age one. I'll be able to do a better cover of it in a month.

He always seemed put off of playing this live because, as he often said, "it's too high." What's ironic is that while, yes, he has to sing falsetto and maybe it's a bit rough, everyone who loves the song still thinks it's beautiful because it's not about how clean it sounds. It's about the structure and melody of the song, ESPECIALLY where he's concerned, because his melodies and chord progressions were so resolutely beautiful.

for the second to last chord try using 88x010x instead. it gives it a little more bass. depends on your style.

for the fourth chord, just slide up two frets to the fifth chord, then come back down two frets to the original fourth chord and add the bass note.

this is one of those songs that sounds harder to play than it really is.

Look at the video, on the 5th chord you shoul slide up one fret and down to 10th again and then play the last chord!
