What is not fair is that our laws are not being followed or enforced by those who have been entrusted by the public to enforce them, and they should enforce all laws and allow people through their elected legislature decide what those laws are within the limits of the constitution. Illegal immigrants should be deported and forced to go through the legal immigration process those that respect our nation go through.
Mexico is now a Narco-Terrorist state. It's only a matter of time before Police and Federal Officers are killed trying to protect us. It's not "If" It's when. SB 1070 is just the first of many Laws that we need in place to protect us from the flood of Mexican terrorists. Sure, 1 in 10 Illegal Aliens are Criminals but if 100,000 cross our Border Illegally in a year (and that's a low estimate) we now have 10,000 new Crimanals to contend with. I won't drive south of Tucson without a Gun in my lap!
If they werent illegal, there wouldnt be an issue and SB 1070 would not be necessary, this guy is full of crap, these people committed crimes simply by coming through the back door with out our permission, just like any other household intruder.
The discussion about whether crime is up or down along the border is misplaced. The vast majority of aliens coming to America travel to the country's interior. Approximately 1 in 10 to 1 in 20 are wanted felons in this country. About 1 in 8 have committed domestic violence offense in America. An illegal alien killed a Phoenix police officer earlier this year and another raped a woman in Seattle. These two stories made headlines but the represent hundreds of other instances.
IIlegal immigration is a crime in itself. Why the hell is this guy saying that most illegals are not involved in crime? Who cares if some Hispanics might be afraid to contact police? It only shows how deep the problem goes. Border towns like Nogales that display this kind of recalcitrance should be shut down and boarded up.
@scasired Jaywalking, too, is a type of crime. Tax evasion is a crime. Speeding is a crime. I even heard it's against the law to remove certain mattress tags. However, those who are guilty of such "crimes" are not labeled "criminals" by political opportunists. Why is that? Not having proper immigration papers is a federal misdemeanor.
@LibertyArizona Because those laws are retarded in the main. But that's obvious to anyone with common sense who remembers anything about this country.
@LibertyArizona Now you are an idiot. speeding is not a crime. Its an infraction and it gets aggressively prosecuted. And why isn't the government sueing states for enforcing speeding laws? It's legal to remove a mattress tag. Jay walking is an infraction. You really are a retard.
@scasired It's also against the law to pay less than you owe on your federal tax return. And yet, no campaign of misinformation/slander designed to scapegoat tax evaders. Why not? No electioneering/legislation demanding that state and local law enforcement chase down tax evaders instead of protecting public safety. A great deal of hysteria and misinformation is required before rational adults suggest ideas like boarding up entire cities. For what purpose? It's hard to see the value.
@LibertyArizona I'm sorry about the 'boarding up' comment. It is the recalcitrance that is so offensive. This is the United States of America, not Mexico. If it was just a few illegals now and then, there would not be such an outcry. But when the number reaches into the tens and hundreds of thousands every year, it's called an invasion. And then we have Mexico giving their full support to the illegals. (cont'd)
@LibertyArizona actually scasired income tax itself is unconstitutional and legally unenforceable. Notice it says Voluntary Income Tax? It was never ratified anyway. It's only upheld by threats and intimidation. If this idiot sherrif thinks it's so difficult and complicated he should step down.
@scasired (cont'd) I've even seen a documentary that showed how some of the Catholic churches in Mexico were holding special services to 'bless' illegals before they embarked on their noble journey. It's sickening!
BTW, there is NO law that requires us to pay income taxes. It's a dirty little secret that the IRS doesn't want you to know about.

Tony Estrada needs to head back to Mexico after he turns in his badge. He seems to like illegal aliens.
