Pelosi stated a few days ago, we need to pass the health care bill to see what's in it. The very heart of the Republic is now in jeopardy. A singular,specific,proposed bill has very specific requirements for compliance/passage with the recording of members votes in both houses. No policies have ever been enacted without the passage of specific statutes. This is the greatest Constitutional crisis in our nations history, no laws, just tyrannical rule.

You've got to understand that we live in the age of digital media, 24/7 news cycle, the internet, where anything you say can be documented as evidence for some future use to accuse the other side. Back then in the early 20th century, we diden't had so much attention, most of the news we got through newspapers. Maybe thats one of the reason why Congress got so many programs passed in the early part of the 20th century without much objection.. There wasn't a thing called ''Youtube'' back then.

In politics, there's Always a Double Standard. I don't see anything *SHOCKING* in this video, It Is a cycle, when one party is in the minority and the other is in the *Majority*, most of the time the minority party will prevent the other party from getting what it wants while they pushes through the President's agenda.
The people who put this video together are pretending that "reconciliation" and "the nuclear option" are the same thing. It's a common Republican talking point, but it's a complete lie. Here we go with the broken record again. You need to do a little fact checking. Let's take SS and medicare since you keep bringing it up.
The SS Act of 1935 had bipartisan support. 84% of house Repubs and 76% of Senate Repubs voted FOR the bill. It sure sounds like the Dems had all the moral high ground there.
As for Medicare, in 1965 when it was passed, the Dems had 68 seats in the Senate, and they still couldn't get 60 votes. If it wasn't for the Repubs, it wouldn't have gone to cloture.
The vote for Medicare had bipartisan support as well. 50% of House Repubs and 43% of Senate Repubs voted FOR the bill. Without the Senate Repubs, we wouldn't have had Medicare in 1965.
I know that you have strong feelings about the left's talking points, but you really need to check your facts before spouting out your anti-conservative rhetoric. This doesn't sound to me like Repubs were fighting either of those bills.
As far as facts go, I've given you nothing but facts. Facts about who gave Obama money, facts about who voted for the SS Act and Medicare act. If you can't handle the facts that is your own fault. As far as a "socially beneficial program for the majority' is concerned, that depends on how you define beneficial. If your definition of beneficial is the government forcibly taking what some have worked for to give it to those who haven't, I wouldn't call that beneficial at all.
As far as the percentage of repubs and dems you don't have to take my word for it. There is this wonderful resource called the internet where people can do more than just rant and rave with incoherent posts. The votes cast for legislation can easily be seen on government sights. Pelosi stated a few days ago, we need to pass the health care bill to see what's in it. The very heart of the Republic is now in jeopardy. A singular,specific,proposed bill has very specific requirements for compliance/passage with the recording of members votes in both houses. Here we go with the broken record again. You need to do a little fact checking. Let's take SS and medicare since you keep bringing it up.
The SS Act of 1935 had bipartisan support. 84% of house Repubs and 76% of Senate Repubs voted FOR the bill. It sure sounds like the Dems had all the moral high ground there.
As for Medicare, in 1965 when it was passed, the Dems had 68 seats in the Senate, and they still couldn't get 60 votes. If it wasn't for the Repubs, it wouldn't have gone to cloture.

The vote for Medicare had bipartisan support as well. 50% of House Repubs and 43% of Senate Repubs voted FOR the bill. Without the Senate Repubs, we wouldn't have had Medicare in 1965.
I know that you have strong feelings about the left's talking points, but you really need to check your facts before spouting out your anti-conservative rhetoric. This doesn't sound to me like Repubs were fighting either of those bills.

As far as facts go, I've given you nothing but facts. Facts about who gave Obama money, facts about who voted for the SS Act and Medicare act. If you can't handle the facts that is your own fault. As far as a "socially beneficial program for the majority' is concerned, that depends on how you define beneficial. If your definition of beneficial is the government forcibly taking what some have worked for to give it to those who haven't, I wouldn't call that beneficial at all.

Social programs do not a great party make. Many of the social programs were passed during FDR and LBJ's terms in office. But NOT ALL. A LOT OF THEM WERE STARTED AT DIFFERENT TIMES BY BOTH PARTIES.
I am critical of BOTH PARTIES. Most politicians need to be removed from office and people who will respect the Constitution need to be put in.

Also seeing as you seem to just be into the blame game and general hate towards those who disagree with you opinion( which in my opinion is rather close minded) maybe you should look to FDR who founded many of the government programs that have led to the downward spiral deeper and deeper into debt. While I am at it I would like to point out that Americans as a whole have a negative savings rate( meaning they spend more than they make) this has been so for many many years...

As for FDR I suggesting that all the social programs such as Social Sec, and welfare are bankrupting the country. Reagan racked up 2.6 T$ in 8 yr, Bush I 4.0 T$ in 4 , Clinton 5.6 T$ in 8yr, Bush II 7-8T$ in 8yr, Obama 1T$ a year in. There is no one who can argue that Reagan and Bush II racked up substantial debt but but Clinton is not innocent either. Lets do the math shall we....2.6 + 8 = 10.6 which is not 12.
