How sturdy is the Roccaforte desk you have there? I'm wondering either I should get it or not but the fact that it is made out of MDF questions its strength.

ah, it depends on the timing but I built a really nice machine and overclocked it and got cheaper. Alienware is actually starting to get cheaper now tho since its dell's main gaming machine because the xps line died out. but I like custom builds because I'll always know every little detail because I built it
In order to have a fast system you have to pay the big money. If you buy cheap you get cheap. My alienware is one of the top of the line system and she runs just fine for me.
I guess the helmet mounted sight moves to the top of the screen when you run the triple width resolution? That would need to be changed, but otherwise that looks pretty awesome.
If your going to add mulit monitors to Win XP or Vista. You need to do a clean install of the OS system, so you can get a fast frame rate. Have your all or video drivers updated.
Hawx is going to be absolute bollocks if you want something that is at least a bit similar to reality, if you want a ridiculous game that looks really nice then get it.

This is a very sturdy desk one of the best I have seen. I am not sure on the MDF it looks like real wood to me. However check the web site.

Oh ok. I assumed that cause some site said that the materials used are steel and MDF. I guess its wrong then. Thanks for the heads up.

I don't think so, because at the time I bought the Alienware a custom built computer could not compete.

I like custom builds too, but at today's prices a I custom computer cost the same as Alienware. So we agree.

not feasible...
i had (HAD) this setup.
it gets choppy to frozen when you zoom out.
plus hes probably getting 2-20 fps..
wasnt worht if for black shark....but it was cool!
i hope HAWX will make me a believer in TH2g... (300$ doing nothing rite now)
