i remember when pacman 1st came out. we used to tape a quarter on the end of a piece of thread n drop down in the slat n get all the credits on the pacman machine up to 99 credits. we were mischieveous but we had all the fun n the world. the mccabe crew. i lived in arcades too. n i hung in the 1 on york rd. 2.
@MrMaxPounder ...actually this is Trouble Funk . They were under contract to Sugarhill and couldnt record under thier name. Big Tony told me this personally......
JQ: Arkade Funk was my shit! It was credited to Tilt. That was just Trouble Funk under a different name right?
BT: Yes, like I said we were in a contract with Sugar Hill where we couldn’t record for awhile. So we did Dett records, and we recorded under different names like Tilt, Slim, Hot Cold Sweat, it was just us finding a way around that contract. Hot Cold Sweat was actually a mixture of Trouble Funk and the Hot Cold Sweat Band.
I dont know what Tony was telling you but Hot Cold Sweat and (Iceberg) Slim were an actual Go-Go band and DJ , respectively. HCS recorded for D.E.T.T. too but it was their band, not Trouble Funk and their band.
Oh yea no doubt...those was the days of the house party's...up top Sheridan, Mc Cabe and down bottom greenmount, illchester Harford rd Darley ave..Baltimore Stand up!!
This was my jam. We used to do the smurf and rubik`s cube back then. My childhood memories are part of this song. I used to stay in arcades back then in Baltimore. Power Play and Beverly`s arcade on York Rd. I lived in those arcades.
Oh yeah, I had this cut back in the day when I was a teen. I use to see Trouble all the time back then - Howard Theater, Cherry's, Metro Club, Ibex Club, Washington Coliseum, any where they played in the DC area!
Was up man, I think you talking about Yellow Magic Orchestra. They had a jam called Firecracker back in the day I use to love. They had another jam about computer
I just posted it, someone else did too but they posted the 6:00 minute version, I just posted the original 7 minute version, it should be ready in moments
sorry when i said i found the cd i ment in my cd collection which i havent looked through in ages anyway its called go go volume one on style records (styrd 002)
