The concept of this sketch and the excellent job at capturing the tone of Top Ten shows (along with my love for Temple of Doom) makes me almost forgive the lack of genuinely funny zingers and mediocre characterizations. Almost. The black-face comes across as offensive, mostly due the fact that the impression is awful, his jokes fall flat and all that one is left is the racist stereotype. I really do like the overall conceit though - brilliant. Pity about the follow through.
