There will never be another Husker Du (though the Foo Fighters are awfully close - Dave Grohl might well be the most successful descendent of the Husker lineage). What I wouldn't give for just one more night of Bob, Grant, and Greg tearing it up . . . (sigh)
back in the day me and my boy, Troy, would buy the latest Husker Du cd, pop it into the crappy Thunderbird CD player and when the music started we would be able to guess if it was Bob or Grant who was going to sing that particular song.
Whole life ahead of us, Zero responsibilities - I sure do miss those times
Every time I listen to them now I can't forget the look on the face of my one time, early nineties, Danish girlfriend when she asked who my current favoured band were at the time... : )
Great melody, great band, mother of the best bands in the world, like superdrag, but the worst drummer ever!

These guys were so awesome. Melody, driving guitar lines. Emotionally deep. Catchy. Foo Fighters really stole so much when you really listen.

I notice that Bob can't seem to get along with anyone for too long. WCW scriptwriters, Sugar, DJ gigs, you name it. Hmmm.

Bob's vocals are amazing on this track. The emotion really comes through.

@bociferousmimi that's Grant Hart singing, not Bob.

@zwylwyn - one of my faves, thank you. Any chance you make it available for mobile devices? Sometimes I need Grant to console me while I'm driving
