@sk8rluv247 It was all so close between 1-3 place. All 3 were incomparable IMO. Guards typically take a year off between so they can save money, more so now than usual.

I remember watching this live and - at the risk of sounding like a crazy person - feeling So ALIVE! Anyone else out there who saw it live, did you think "I'm watching color guard history being written right in front of my eyes!"? or was I the only one? lol. I just think this is one of those shows that set a whole new standard of connection with the audience that won't be met any time soon. They may not have gotten first but this performance will have a special place in my heart forever! :)

Well shows usually end by their 5:30 mark don't they? haha. Maybe they added that last part in just for finals and the announcer didn't know about it until he realized he messed up xD

@animepenguin702 Theoretically, that would work, but they had it when I saw it for both prelims and semis in the same arena with the same announcer. I was so mad when I heard him mess up in finals. But everyone makes mistakes and it does kind of seem like the show could end there. Oh well. It's still amazing! :D

@hyde26 NEi unfortunately didn't come out this year (2011), but last year, their show "Ruthless Gravity" was AMAZING. It appears on the WGI site they're selling the 2010 IW class shows as a bundle. I for some reason thought you had the 2010 WGI DVD!!

@itstalent25 I think that was just an epic fail on the announcer's part...during prelims everyone thought that was the end to Pride's show, too, and started cheering like mad before we realized they were still going. But there was a whole lot of fail that year. I think NEI and Blessed Sac had their places mixed up during awards, too.

Oh wow...what do you mean NEi Blessed Sac got mixed up? I agree, i didnt follow that season as closely as I usually do..but from what i've seen. Pride should have won, followed by ONyx or maybe Nei..

@itstalent25 During awards they announced that Sac got 4th and NEI got 5th, and it wasn't until after all the awards had been announced that they corrected it (NEI 4th and Sac 5th). I definitely think NEI deserved to place over Sac, but that just really sucked. I thought Pride should have won, too, Onyx had crazy intensity during finals but I could not get over that music. I wasn't super impressed with SCV, either, because there was no drill.
