I do not agree with the cruelty that is in this video. One thing is wrong the beaks are not cut out of cruelty but rather to protect the birds themselves. It is done just after hatching with the beaks are soft to keep them from breaking. It is done because left to grow the beaks will form sharp ends that the birds will use to attack and kill each other. This is a BENEFIT TO THE BIRDS. Please search DEBEAKING to understand. Cruelty I don't agree with but debeaking benefits more than it hurts

C'mon, you can't be that naive. Do you live on Mars? All animals used by major agricultural corps and companies are treated cruelly and without any consideration. The only way to boycott cruelty is to become a vegan or eat organic/specially prepared meats,eggs,milk,etc. If you think they treat chickens horribly, you should go to a slaughterhouse. It is legal. Chickens are excluded from the Humane Slaughter Act so they can be treated in ways that would be considered felony cruelty-to-animals if cats or dogs were the victims. I don't think the fact that something is legal means that it is ethical.

I became Vegan in Feb '08, with no regrets.
I didn't eat that much meat before but mainly ham. The story their is just as bad.
Although rarely stopping at KFC, I didn't object to their food. Now, I won't stop there at ALL. Not even for potato wedges.
It is great being vegan. I'm getting my protein from nuts and other substitutes.

It is legal. Chickens are excluded from the Humane Slaughter Act so they can be treated in ways that would be considered felony cruelty-to-animals if cats or dogs were the victims. I don't think the fact that something is legal means that it is ethical.

Not doing anything wrong? Do you not see the video? any one could see thats wrong just because the stupid goverment of the us thinks its right doesn't make it right! So if taking kids and forcing them to work and do others things was OK by the law. Is it still the right thing? NO!

oh ok. So, are you a vegan? I am trying to become Vegan it's difficult because i don't have that much money. I am currently looking for a job. I know that I don't go to KFC which is a good start!

its actually kfc's supplier, im sure kfc doesn't
intend for this but they need such a large demand on chicken that raising it healthy and effeciently is just too much time and money

Words cannot describe what I have just seen and heard from Bea Arthur. From now on, I boycott KFC, too! That's absolutely terrible what they do to those chickens.

yup!! Great for her!! Kentucky Fried Cruiety!!! I am working on being a Vegan, I wonder if Bea is. She's an idol of mine. What happens to animals is so horrible. I was Vegan for 5 months than my mom's bday. But i want to be Vegan again.
