I'm like 1/3 Korean from my dads moms side but I was born and rise in south America I look nothing like an Asian or Korean, I'm naturally tan but like more on the lighter side, I don't speak Korean i am learning some words thou, I do speak English and Spanish perfectly I know I can still audition but what are my chances to get pick if I'm not Asian looking?

a friend of mine is a major k-addict (shes hispanic and learning korean - speaks well like a mix native haha) and she really wants to be signed to jyp but is not sure if its only asians so yeah haha im just helping out. thanks
I think yes, you have to be Asian if you want them to debut you in Korea.. JYP debuts singers in the states too, so maybe your friend might have chance if they think she can make it big...
kinda answering ur question and going off of hydemegumi4ever's statment...... im sure like hyde said... if she wanted to be debuted in korea yes... being korean will giv her more of an advantage.. HOWEVER u dont HAVE to be asian to enter the audtion... and knowing JYP if he decides to sign her... then im sure he can pull some strings and make ur friend huge... i mean hes a genius afterall :]
