You say you learned a grade 2 level and you taught yourself.......I had a piano and with daily practice considered myself grade 2/3 level. Then we moved out of state and had to leave my piano behind. My husband promised to replace it but never happened. It's been five years and I long to teach myself/play piano again......looking for a spinet or something that will go up a second floor. Hey i have to learn this on the piano for my dad for christmas. I only have a few more weeks to learn before my residual and if i don't learn the whole thing he'll get mad. @XLovxEscxThexFteX Practice both hands separately, once you can do both without mistakes and at a reasonable pace, then begin to put both together. This is not an easy song, especially the jazz sections. Be patient, practice at least 2 hours a day, and you will have this song by Christmas.

All I can say is...wow. I can honestly say that you're one of the best at playing this song (that I've seen at least). I couldn't make out any mistakes, and I was really impressed when you did the jazz riff part. I think that with a little (not much, you're really good) polishing and the right motivation, you could rival the greats of piano playing.

By the way, to my ears, it sounded darn bear identical to the original by Vince. ;)

Play the e-flat and the a-flat above it together with your thumb on the e-flat key and your middle finger on the a-flat key. Next, slide your thumb over and play the f key and a-flat key together but as you slide your thumb over hit the e key together with the f key and then immediately release the e key. Your thumb should make a sliding motion as it goes from the e-flat to the f. Next, hit the f and a-flat again. Repeat twice and then hit the e-flat.
