  • I heard a couple chords from Bend the Bracket.

  • i started listening to this album thinking WHERE THE FUCK IS THE HEAVY STUFF but this actually has become one of my favorite albums by far from them.

  • @MrGrimshade I thought the same thing. I like that they're not trying to sell there self's out. Definitely matured in a good way.

  • Definately their softer album, wish it was more hard, that's what she said.

  • @Nick4484 ha hah

  • I like how skullkrusher93 actually brings fact and logic to the fucking table then just, 'GREATEST SONG EVER, SOUNDS LIKE TO TOOL, I LIKE TO CUT MYSELF TO THIS SONG.

  • @aad0dl listen to the album we are not alone its BB's best album I love this album Hats off to the bull

  • @aad0dl letter from a thief, braniac, clones, shameful metaphors, and arise

  • @opiqued thanks! i am so glad i found this awesome band. if u like this kind of music, i think you will like a band called "red" too. check out their songs i will never be the same, shadows, breathe into me

  • @aad0dl Everything on their album Vena Sera is pretty great, check out the song "The Fad"

  • @MyNitr0gen thanksI i cant believe how i didnt know about this band earlier. atleast glad i found them now

  • This song is about the people who hurt, bullies, preps, etc. And how they will be left out on the dreams of life and the opportunity's that they could have had, which they don't deserve, this is why chevelle is a real band and this is why it is inspirational because im sure a lot of people can relate to it.

  • Soooo much better than sci-fi crimes

  • All I can say is Awesome

  • Smooth shit

  • Amazing

  • 2 people have a personal hate against Chevelle and amazing music. What the Hell is their problem. This is outfuckingstanding!!!!!!! I need this album!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you chevelle for making Tue best music in the world

  • I can't sleep without playing guitar first, chevelle, b.b., and staind are part of the reason why. Ifyour not inspired by this band, there is something wrong with your brain. The two people who disliked this flipped there screen over so they could like it again

  • Its... Dreamlike

  • their best acoustic song and one of the best songs on the album.

  • my god this album so far is fucking kickass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe the best album chevelle has done. They go from hard stuff that gets you pumped up to relaxing music like this song. How they are not one of the most recognized bands in america is beyond me because this band id simply amazing.

  • @waffle641 the reason why is because most teenagers and young adults are still obsessed with rap and hip hop. Both of which are mass produced by the music industry.

  • This is one of my absolute favorite songs on this album..I love this band..This type of thinking could do us in is one of my favorite albums..Hats off to the bull is probably my new favorite..I love pete's voice. Its so melodic. All their albums have special meaning to me! This is officially one of my favorite albums right now. anyway I give mad props to them..Thanks Chevelle for giving us a kick ass album..Havent stopped listening to it since the day i got it..totally my furture husband

  • has anybody noticed tht on all the songs from this album have 2 dislikes? without those 2 people the world would be a better place.

  • i love this song, its so peaceful and relaxing.

  • lol out of all the bands chevelle is the only music i can listen to and can actually admit i listen to the lyrics.

  • penile erection

  • Petes voice has mature a lot since Wonder Whats Next

  • I've been in love with there music since they started.

  • 1:38 from my darling to fnahhehhhahehn

  • incredible track. love the bridge when the bass kicks in

  • damnnnnn

  • my favorite acoustic song by them

  • this song is so beautiful T_T

    Chevelle's new album is amazing!!

  • What does "hats off to the bull" mean? Chevelle always has very cryptic lyrics and album names lol

  • @Disterric23 I'm pretty sure it's just another way of saying "come what may".

  • @Disterric23 i think in a bull fight or something when the bull has to get to that red cloth but the guy always dodges the bull, in the picture you can see the bull finally reaching that red cloth before the guy takes it away so i think "hats off to the bull" is a way of telling the bull (which is the underdog) that good job, you finally accomplished what you wanted

sorry if that doesnt make a lot of sense but i cant find a way to write down what i am thinking.anyway hope this helps

  • @aad0dl Makes perfect sense, thank you, i couldn't think of a reason for the life of me lol thats some of the reason why i love Chevelle

  • reminds me of prince of persia... great song though.

  • Song is too short so here is a FREE yes FREE reset button @0:00 and yes I stole this comment.

  • Chevelle is just awesome and that's it. This song is the fucking shit PERIOD

  • This is a song that will still be playing in households 20 years from now

  • nice song :D

  • Even though This Type of Thinking and Sci-Fi Crimes blew me away, this album seriously did the trick. At first I thought I wouldn't like all these new tracks, but listening to them again and again, they are truly awesome, ESPECIALLY The Meddler

  • Chevelle always needs more acoustic pieces. I think I found my new favorite acoustic tune for the next year.

  • This song is everything that Chevelle has never done and will continue to do on a regular basis.

  • Though Sci Fi crimes and Vena Sera really struck me, this one is growing on me more. I hate to sound hipsterish and not let them move forward, but in retrospect the theme of this album is very cool.

  • @1stpKlosr2 i agree nirvana is trash. Their new album sucks just as much as their others do.

  • @iWestyn what is this I don't even...

  • @iWestyn are you retarded? nirvana broke up in 94. new allbum? dumb ass

  • One thing I love about Chevelle is their ability to evoke strong emotions when they play. Their harder stuff gets me pumped and their softer acoustic songs like this one make me reflect and think about things, and help me relax. They have a great balance, and that's why I love them.

  • @skullkrushr93 Possibly the most elequent, accurate, and pleasing youtube comment I've ever seen

  • @skullkrushr93 Couldn't say it any better myself.

  • @skullkrushr93 Very well put man.. They r by far intellectally superior to all others

  • Im sorry but Nirvana is garbage

  • @1stpKlosr2 hey dude, check your inbox. in about 2 or 3 days, you'll have like 50+ pages of responses. XD

  • @1stpKlosr2 You're an ignorant little monkey boy who deserves to have his ears cut off.

  • @1stpKlosr2 I totally agree. Nirvana is not worth listening to. What's so special about them? Nothing.

  • @SushieEz1 lol if nirvana didn't exist, alternative rock wouldn't have existed or at least been nearly as prevalent. so forget the foo fighters, green day, blink 182, staind, seether, rise against, 3 doors down, the white stripes, 3 days grace, etc. and without nirvana, bands such as tool, soundgarden, and alice in chains would not have gotten as big as they did. and if tool didn't get so big, chevelle wouldn't have existed. So shove that up your ass.

  • @wonderwall135 False. While they may have lacked some inspiration, Soudgarden and Tool I know for sure would have panned out very similarly. They were influenced too heavily by other bands.

  • @wonderwall135

Dude, realise that they're just a fucking band. I could write a song and start a new music genre. Does it mean I'm special in any way? Seriously, does any of the bands you mentioned ever said: "Thanks to Nirvana, we wouldn't exist without it. We're famous'cause we were influenced by Nirvana!". No, they didn't. Why? Because they don't owe Nirvana ANYTHING. The fact that Nirvana was the first one doesn't mean they're the inspiration to anyone. 'So shove that up Kurt's ass'.

  • @SushieEz1 Before nirvana, alternative music wasn't popular. All those bands I mentioned WERE influenced heavily by nirvana. Why are you dumbing down everything? If Nirvana didn't get so popular, those bands would have had a very different sound. You are ignorant. Nirvana made alternative music so popular that metal bands like alice in Chains and Tool got blended in as alternative and played at lollapalooza, where they got their following. Get some education.

  • @wonderwall135

But what if they didn't get the popularity? Some other 'alternative' band would have gotten it. They were lucky to be heard and that's all. I don't really care if you like it or not, you've got a difference taste and I respect it. But why do people worship Nirvana and Cobain when they're just a part of grey reality from the past. Don't treat it as if it was a motherfuckingsuperduperawesomegodband. Cause it's simply not. I might be ignorant, I don't care. But humanity is dumb.

  • @SushieEz1 Yeah I'm done replying to this. I'll just leave this: I don't worship Nirvana the way I don't worship the Beatles. I like listening to them, but I don't think they're "motherfuckingsuper.." or whatever you so eloquently wrote. Even then, I realize how big of an impact they had on music. And yes, you are ignorant and yes, humanity is dumb.

  • @SushieEz1 Kurt Cobain. There is no need to list any more.

  • @Q101ridiculous

Oh, he's a person like any other. I don't see anything great about him. His personality? There are many people that are just better than him. His talent? Trust me, he did not have any special one. Maybe the fact that he was addicted to heroin, wanted to suicide or something? Yeah, fucking idol. Screw him and Nirvana, they did nothing. Just a band. They started a revolution? If they didn't exist, someone else would have started it.

  • It goes Karnivool, Tool, then Chevelle. Check out Karnivool, along with Dead Letter Circus and Butterfly Effect. Australia is where the good music is at now, because the rap rock and bro rock never was cool there. They listen to bands like Tool, Deftones and Chevelle. No nickleback, no seether, no papa roach. Only bands that have talents when they write

  • @tjmoore13 No.

  • @tjmoore13 Putting Karnivool before Chevelle is about like running your dick through a meat grinder....makes no sense. Karnivool is a kickass band and I do love their music...but I'm sorry, CHEVELLE IZ THA SHIT AND ALWAYS WILL BE! \m/ >.< \m/

  • @420Guitar420 its a shame that nobody knows about the australian band Karnivool... Second favorite behind Chevelle of course

  • @1stpKlosr2 hey man, dont hate so hard lol. I don't like Nirvana either, but you gotta respect them.along with soundgarden and tool and a few others, they made rock what it is today.

  • Love this song! haha

  • love this one, its my second favorite. Envy is my most favorite of all of them :)

  • Why are the comments about the band spam but not the other shit that doesn't matter???

  • I think a sitar would do justice for the intro

  • Wow.....

  • @Mollifier16616111

    ...Dude.............

  • @znern Agreed... wtf was that

  • If anyone dislikes this i will personalty come find you and cut your dick off, and if your a girl say good by to your tits

  • @xXDarknessAssasinXx if you keep the tits can i have them?

  • @xXDarknessAssasinXx well you have one person to catch cuz we have ourselves a disliker :/

  • Best 3 piece bands of all time:

    1) Rush

    2) Chevelle

    3) Cog

    4) Silverchair

    5) Placebo

    6) Nirvana

  • @420Guitar420 Wow! I'm surprised you know about cog. They're a great band!!!

  • @phobiaspasm Yeah it's a shame the world doesn't know about the Australian band Cog. They are amazing. They broke up unfortunately.

  • @420Guitar420 Yeah it sucks they had to break up but there's a new band called FLOATINGME that has the Cog drumming playing in it. The music isn't too bad and i reckon it's quite progressive but i still prefer Cog.

  • @420Guitar420 when i hear cog i think... GEARS OF WAR!!!!!!!!!

  • @420Guitar420 wow man did you really just say silverchair is a better band than Primus? just stop listening to rock music and pick up a my chemical romance cd

  • @barryjust1 I forgot about Primus. My favorite song by them is To Defy the Laws of Tradition. I'd probably put them 2nd on my list. Of course it's just my personal opinion jackass.

  • @420Guitar420 I forgot Primus.They'd probably be in the 2-3 range.

  • @420Guitar420 I agree with the first two but Nirvana sucks.

  • @1stpKlosr2 That's the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard.

  • @1stpKlosr2 Wtf... Nirvana is amazing.

  • @1stpKlosr2 are you retarded?

  • Great song! Chevelle always has awesome acoustic songs. Btw I'm the first to comment! :)
