  • So strange. I was good friends with your "Channel Girls". Did you know them? They usually hung out in the Living Room in RI, not Boston.

  • @theborg Hi...no, I didn't know them. They just agreed to pose for a picture for me. They just looked very cool to me and the area there near the Ladies Room had an awesome mural on the wall...it just made for a great shot. Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed the vid.

    Best,

    Joy

  • @LeopardJoy For the record, that's Missy (the blonde) with her cousin Ronda. They went clubbing more than anyone I knew. I think Missy once told me she saw the Ramones about 24 times. I would love to know what show this was. I was only at the Channel once and that was for the Plasmatics :)

  • Hi Joy,

I believe I am the Punk in your collection. I believe I was walking up Lansdowne St. on a Sat, and you asked to take my photo. Were/are you married to the git player from Steel Assassin? Regardless, I loved your pics, and it brought me back to an amazing time of Boston Rock. The Boston bands were so good, and there were so many! Great job!

    Ted Condo (formerly of 6L6)

  • @66trem Hi Ted! Well, my punk is finally identified! Yes, it probably was a Saturday on Lansdowne St....I may have been out taking photos for my Photography classes a New England School of Photography in Kenmore Sq. No, I'm not married to the guitarist from Steel Assassin...maybe I wish I was??? lol Thanks for stopping by and I'm glad to have brought back a few good memories for you :) I live in California now but am ALWAYS homesick for my beloved Boston (and hope to return soon :)

    Best,

    Joy

  • Wow this is so great, thanks for this! Please post more!!

  • The Channel always rocked...We will NEVER see a scene like that again, Iam so glad to have been part of it!

  • I would love to see Steve C and David again. Saw David and Lee mid 90's opening for Jonathan Richam at the Channel which was great fun. But hjave not seen the gorgeous Cataldo in years. I come back to visit once a year to see my family - should try and catch a gig. Love from London. xx

  • This is so great. I lived in Boston from 1977 - 1982 (in London since) and recognise some of these faces - the lovely David Minehan and Johnny Angel. There was nothing like The Rat. And the Club. And Cantones. And the Channel. I never had so much fun in all my life. We saw everybody. The best nights were The Real Kids, Nervous Eaters and the Hoods on a triple bill! Every night another gig another venue. Boston really did rock.

  • @DeborahS100 ...thanks for stopping by Deborah! Ah yes...Cantones, the Channel, the Rat...wish I could go back for just a night, you know? See the 'Hoods and maybe the Nervous Eaters! Those were the days! It's great to have good memories, isn't it? :)

    Best,

    Joy

  • Love it! Some of the best years of my life. Thanks for posting this...you have some great shots.

  • @2012USNA Thanks for stopping by...glad you enjoyed and hopefully some of my pics brought back a few memories for you :)

  • Excellent video, Joy. Some wonderful pics/visuals you put together. And some fantastic music here! Ain't nothing better than the good 'ole stuff. Rock on. :) Janet

  • @onewomanandsomesongs Thanks for taking a look at my little retrospective...glad you enjoyed!

  • Thanks for bringing back memorable times at The Rat!

  • @rock2756 Those were the days! Thanks for stopping by.

  • love the 'Hoods

  • Any shots of Heart On Fire or The Streets?

  • @bclaire ...no, sorry! Thanks for stopping by my video.

  • What a wonderful time to be a fan of Alternative Rock, when it truly WAS the Alternative. have many fond memories of the club scene here in the Kansas City/ Lawrence, Kansas area at the time, but visited clubs in L.A., D.C. Chicago, Austin, Texas, Minneapolis, and Hoboken, New Jersey, and would have loved to seen a club show in Boston at that time. Man, those were heady days.......

  • Really amazing stuff Joy - What a great experience it must have been for you!

    Adam xx.

  • @positiveadam Thanks for stopping by, Adam! Yes, these were really fun days for me :) I need to do a Part II though...I have a lot more band pix...but I can't seem to find any extra time to do anything these days...my work is really busy.

    Best,

    Joy

  • great pics - thanks for posting this - some social documentarian will do a PhD paper on this in 20 years...

  • @BostonRocker51 ...what a great idea! I would gladly share whatever pix I have in my collection for a book or paper.

  • omg!!! The Royal Pimps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @beatlebunnyblonde Yes!! There they are! Thanks for taking a look :)

    Best,

    Joy/the Leopard Lounge

  • where can I find some videos from The Tears from Revere MA? Their myspace page only has pics...or vids from the old Narcissus and Celebration club in Boston?

  • @phub467 Hi...sorry, I can't find any videos of The Tears here on YouTube. You might want to contact them through MySpace. Thanks for stopping by my vid :)

    Best,

    Joy

  • OMG Joy I was watching your cool posts and came across the picture

of me and Johnny G. (he is still adorable!) Oh how I loved the 80's.

  • @corinngucci Hi honey!!! :) I'll bet this brought you back some memories huh? We were ruled the clubs back then...we went to all the shows together. Good times, good times. Of course I had to include a pic of my best buddy in this !!! Those great times would not have been half as fun without you there too! Yes, Johnny was adorable and I'll bet he still is!

    Hugs,

    Joy xo

  • Really miss Tribe and the Heretix. Seems there are no videos about the Heretix out there.

  • My last post didnt take....so here it is again...I miss the Heretix...I saw them perform at the Paradise Rock club around 1990...a great night...

  • I miss the Heretix..I watched them perform at the Paradise Rock club during a CD release party..one of the best memories ever....

  • Wonderful photography Joy. The Leopard Lounge has become my favourite place to be on Youtube. I never log in without catching at least one show. Admiration and Respect for you and your excellent work.

  • @judassane Hi Glenn! Nice to 'see' you over on yet another video...I think you are fast becoming the all-time Leopard Lounge number one FAN...lol! Glad you enjoyed the little walk down memory lane here. When I think about working full-time, going to photog school at night and ALL DAY on Saturday and yet still being out in the clubs photographing bands at least 2 nights a week, every week during these years...I don't know how I did it! lol...thanks for taking a look :)

    Hugs,

    Joy xo

  • Nice snapshot (no pun intended) of your earlier life. You lived It big time :))

  • @kentishbloke Hi Tim! Yep...those were the days. So much fun...just crazy crazy stuff. At least I have a lot of it documented with photos. I went to photography school at night during that time so a lot of my projects were printed large and I've got boxes of stuff from that time. Thanks for stopping by!

    Hugs,

    Joy

  • Nice work Joy!

  • @popstotexas Thanks for taking a look, Dave....glad you enjoyed :)

    Hugs,

    Joy

  • That's GREAT! Takes me back...I saw most of those bands and went to all of those clubs...one of the bands I was in, Mayday, played The Rat, Jumpin Jack Flash, The Channel, Chet's Last Call and here's one, DownUnder!

  • @numanboy ...glad I could help you recall some good memories! I vaguely remember DownUnder...was that in Boston?

  • Oh, and The Del Fuegos and Nuno and Extreme. My old pal Ann-Marie was crazy about them. Ann-Marie Di--- from Framingham, if you;re out there, shout out to you, Sister!

  • Look how thin everyone was back in the days before high trans fat tacos and Twinkies.

  • How about Treat Her RIght.

  • I agree! I too saw Til Tuesday at Jumpin' Jack FLash in the Fenway with my gal pal Kathy--Love in a Vacuum WBCN hit list, just before they scored with Voices. Awesome shows! Met Aimee at Rathskellar in Kenmore, where I lived, literally. She signed a napkin for me at 2AM... I still have it, man.

  • Cool!

  • Thanks, Lee! Glad you enjoyed. Give Reuben a pat for me!

    Best,

    Joy

  • Hey anybody out there remember The Tears outta Revere? How about Bang Nasty? trying to find some of those guys from back in the late 80s early 90s

  • @MrWalksfar ...I do recall the band The Tears, but I think Bang Nasty came in around the time I got married and stopped being out so much in the clubs photographing. But I have heard their name mentioned. Thanks for stopping by

    Best,

    Joy

  • I remember Bang N asty, I remember being on stage at Axis at a No Bozos Jam and catching a shard of glass in my mouth because the singer of Bang Nasty screamed "we are Bang Nasty!" at the conclusion of their set and smashed a Bud bottle onto the stage.

LOVED those gys though and Tin Pan Alley and Flash Addict

  • You don't have any pictures of 'Til Tuesday at Jumping Jack Flash's.... Aimee Mann used to hang out with us Mass Art students and come to our parties a lot on Queensborough Street back in the day.

  • Right, unfortunately no pix of Aimee! Hey, I went to Mass Art too! :) Must have been cool to have Aimee show up at your parties...ah yes, back in the day!

    Best,

    Joy

  • Steven Tyler use to date my closest friend's sister and he'd try to get us into the Harbour House in Lynn

  • Brings back lot of memories! I saw most of those bands more than once. In one band or another I played The Channel, The Rat, The Paradise, Jumpin Jack Flash, Bunratty's, Jumbo's, Down Under, Chet's Last Call.....those were some great times...it's a shame it's ALL gone now...

  • Hi numanboy! Thanks for taking a little walk down memory lane...yup, went to ALL those clubs you mentioned at one time or another. I'm sure there are some new places now? I've been out here in San Francisco for 14 years so I haven't kept up. But, for sure, there will never be another Rat, huh? Remember Mitch at the door? Coolest dude ever!

    All the best,

    Joy/the Leopard Lounge

  • Tribe! Heretix! Wait, no O-Positive?!?!

    Great pics; thanks for posting!

  • Thanks for stopping by, bostonbill2007!

    All the best,

    Joy/the Leopard Lounge

  • Hi John!!! Yes, of course I remember you! And see our Corinne there, too? lol Those were the days, huh? Can you personal message me on here with your 'regular' email, and I'd be happy to send a digital copy of that shot to you. Thanks for stopping by, too...love to see and hear from friends from 'back in the day'...btw, you looked adorable in that shot...it is one of my faves...I have a million pix of Corinne, but I really loved this one of you both, that's why I included it :)

    Best,

    Joy

  • Wow, great compilation....i just stumbled upon it, and as i was watching, i was blown away to see myself in there! I'm the guy on the right under "friends" at time stamp 2:43!

Joy, Im not sure if we remember each other or not, but is there any way i can get a copy of that shot? soooo cool! and thanks for sharing these great memories from that time...

  • Wow- I've got a couple of Del Fuegoes pix that are pretty good too. Wonder if I could find them...

  • what no del fuegos? come on now.........

  • Sorry! Love the del fuegos but I never got a chance to photograph them...

  • Neighborhoods - the Tubes - OMG - the Rat - the Paradise.......damn.......memories. I feel old. Great video thanks for posting.

  • Oh no, nmamfqlmsh! Don't feel old because then I'll feel old, and we're not! lol Thanks for stopping by...glad you enjoyed!

    All the best,

    Joy/the Leopard Lounge

  • "Staying on the right side of Satan " is cursed.

Bad shit happens to those who've played it.

don't get caught up in its melody.

    the Evil is real.

  • Interesting info on Staying on the Right Side of Satan, hippostomp7. I hadn't heard about the curse on that song. I love to hear any trivia about Boston bands, so thanks :)

    All the best,

    Joy

  • Oh darn. always thought it said "Standing on the Right Side of Satan"

That is how I always sang it.

Anyway, Jane, as a fan of Boston bands who was always dancing in the front and cursing the photographers for being in the way--Thanks!

I didn't appreciate you then, but I do now.

    I appreciate you now, finally.

  • What a cool comment, KonTaBaiDushi! (I'm JOY, by the way,,,not Jane...but still thanks!)...I used to get some good shots and then try to get out of the way because I was dancing myself most of the time. Thanks for stopping by. I just checked your page...the Barbarians! Yay!!! Moulty! Yeah!

    All the best,

    Joy/the Leopard Lounge

  • After the Titanics recorded it,

A horrible curse followed the song on its debut in the fall months of 1992. As Disc Jockeys throughout the New England States played it into the late hours of Night, wicked things began to happen to those who became mesmerized with its Melody, and sickness, and death became reality within those circles..leading to a strong Belief that the song was cursed.

"Staying on the right side of Satan" is a cursed Song.

  • @hippostomp7 It was the "Satanics" that recorded that one, after they were done with the "Titanics!"

  • Boston Rock Scene....

What was that song that cursed any DJ that

played it..? - Bad shit always followed for some reason. -October of '91- or '92??

...."Staying on the right side of Satan"??

Yea..I think it was from the Titanics..

Dont listen to it. - You could be next.

  • stopped in to snatch this one up for the new channel fav's:)) You are camera girl! LOL

  • No, no, YOU will always be 'camera girl', Jane :) Thanks for faving this at your other channel

    Hugs,

    Joy

  • Great pic's! Especially liked the one of the Pandoras- always been a fan of female musicians. I'm glad you got to be there and enjoy that! I was in Atlanta during that time and I must say that I wouldn't trade those days for anything- in spite of all the ups and downs, the 80s were some good years for me. Thanks for helping me relive them- (yeah! You shoulda' seen me with my spandex and my Yngwie Malmsteen/Molly Ringwald hair back then! lol)

  • Yes, the 80's were a blast for me, too :) Spandex and Malmsteen hair? Now that I would PAY to see! lol

  • Thanks for including Heretix. I saw them dozens and dozens of times. To me, they were one of the all time greats, not just on the Boston scene, but on every scene. They were full of talent and got screwed by Island. I still listen to them all of the time. Superdevil is still one of the best...it will always be relevant.

  • Hi BunkyL! Thanks for taking a looksee at my vid. Yeah, the Heretix man...they were just coming onto the scene back then...I didn't know they got screwed by Island though. You know, sometimes it just takes the one big derailment like that to entirely muck up the whole works. It's kinda nice now that musicians and bands are moving towards being their own independent record companies...it keeps the balance right.

    All the best,

    Joy

  • I live just one hour north of Boston.

    Love the city.

    I still drink and smoke.

    No more hair.

  • Hi Art! Thanks for stopping by my Boston Rocks video :) I'm moving back east this year...hopefully Cape Cod. That is, when the economy improves enough for me to switch jobs. Right now anyone with a job should probably stay where they are. I will always love Boston...I was born there and it's always been 'home' to me...I've never been able to call California home. I just love the east coast in general :)

  • since when are the Tubes from Boston?

  • I never said they were...read the description box. These are bands I photographed in Boston clubs, not necessarily all bands from Boston. Band of Susans is from NYC. Penn and Teller/Bongos Bass and Bob at that time were from the NYC area.

  • Cool....

Reminds me of my old band that played the Rat...

  • Hi sweetdestruction6! I spent many a happy evening at the Rat...one of the best places to see Boston bands. I can't tell you how many times I saw the Neighborhoods there. Thanks for stopping by...

    Cheers,

    Joy

  • Memories of my youth of hanging out at the rat and the channel.

    Thanks for this.

would have had such fun! POppin in my Leopard Joy playlist;)5*****

  • Oh I know, Jane, we would have had a BLAST going to see all the bands together 'back in the day'...Thanks for poppin' this in my very own Playlist on your page (I still can't get over THAT! lol)...thanks for the kind compliments on my work, too! I had such fun...great memories, for sure :) (the best part is, I got out alive! lol...it was mostly just mayhem)

  • Great video Joy! I love the photos, do you sell any of your work? Check out my Rash of Stabbings videos! Thanks!

  • Yes, I used to sell my work...I had my own studio back in Boston and darkroom (back in the day when we used chemicals!)...now everything is digital. I will see if I can round up a print of that Rash of Stabbings photo and be in touch, Aldo! Thanks for taking a look...I'm sure it brought back memories for you :)

    Cheers,

    Joy

    Hugs,

    Joy

  • If I wasn't old enough to hit the clubs back then, at least I got to see a LOT of local bands on V66. Ball & Pivot, Axeminster, Willie Loco Alexander, Digney Fignus, John Butcher Axis (Life Takes a Life!) who dated my friend Ely's mom, New Man, and that band who did "Dreaming of Saturday Again". Who was that? Oh well. Great post.

  • Hey thanks for dropping by my vid! I believe Dreaming of Saturday Again is a Blackjacks song :) I actually took my MOM to see Willie Loco at the Paradise (since my brother managed him for a while)...good times, good times!

    Cheers,

    Joy

  • Fantastic clip! I wasn't into clubbing, but I wish I had gone in to see some of these bands. The Boston scene was awesome - Neighborhoods, Blackjacks, Jon Butcher, Nervous Eaters, Sex Execs, Rubber Rodeo, etc. These photos capture the feeling of the era. Thanks for creating one of the best clips on YouTube!!

  • Hi br1843! Thanks for that awesome comment...and yes, the Nervous Eaters!!!...Sex Execs!!! There were so many...Friday and Saturday night at the Channel, The Rat in Kenmore Square, TT The Bear's, Storyville, the Paradise...good times, good times :) Thanks for FAVORITING this vid, too :) I need to put up my second edition of Boston Rocks soon.

    Cheers,

    Joy

  • Tribe the most underated band ever.Ever Janet LaVally best vocalist 3 years strieght ( Boston Pheonix readers pol) .Bass player Greg LoPiccalo has helped to creat a little known video game by the name of GUITAR HERO, maby some of you have heard of it. I miss the Channel Days and all the band I saw like Dale Bozzio,Stray Cats,Tubes,Meatloaf, and countless others. But I miss the most TRIBE because the music was so great and live Janet was the one of the sexyist frontwomen ever.

  • I was going to the Channel about once a week back then. You didn't have my fav band from that era...November Group!

  • OMG, yes! November Group!!! Loved them...I may have some pix...this is only a small sampling of all the bands I photographed through those years. Thanks for watching and commenting, David!

    Cheers,

    Joy

  • The Neighborhoods are playing tomorrow night. The Neighborhoods wsg Thinner and Super 400 (yeah!) Ralph's Diner Worcester, MA Dec 15, 2007 9pm - $15 Burma For Burma Benefit w/ Mission Of Burma and The Neighborhoods Sunday, January 20th, 2008 Great Scott 1222 Commonwealth Ave. Allston, MA 02134 $15, 21+, 9PM Doors
  • Ralphs Diner ROCKS!!!!

A few years back I saw the Swinging NeckBreakers in there...awesome and I do recall very reasonable priced Black Label bar bottles for like 2 bucks...I think...

  • really cool video, can't believe how many of those bands I saw & yet wanted to see more... thanks for posting.

  • Hi BostonRocker51...we probably brushed by each other a few times, I'm sure! Thanks for watching...glad you enjoyed :)

    Cheers,

    Joy

  • since you're in California, I have to ask do you ever see a photog/paparazzi named Phil Spring? He used to shoot a lot of bands, uses the tradename Phil-in Phlash...

  • I remember a Phil-in-Flash from the Boston area...same guy? We were at MANY of the same shows together but I didn't know him. And I know there's another band photog with a similar name.

  • so who did the song?

Don't wanna state the obvious but 40 percent of this pastiche were not Boston bands. Bands that played Boston? that list would include every band in the world, aye?

  • SOME bands I photographed in the Boston clubs during that timespan. If you watched to the end, you'd see the credit for Band of Susans (obviously you didn't, aye?) IF you read the description in the Description box ovah theya, that would have answered some of your questions. (cont'd b/c of the 500 character limit...)

  • ..Was gonna just remove your comment as a drive-by rude one, but thought I'd leave it up to show the next commenter what a 'drive-by' comment consists of..don't watch to the end, don't read the Description in the box, and just slap down a comment in an attempt to show everyone how cool...erm, I mean ..oh nevermind...

  • Great photos--wish I knew where that picture of the Blackjacks came from, I'm guessing 1989 or so, I never saw it before.

    Thanks all the same

    Johnny Angel, the Blackjacks.

  • Thanks, Johnny! Think it was the Blackjacks at The Channel...prolly around that date...1989, I actually removed a wide expanse of black and brought you two players closer together, that's why I think it was The Channel's rather large stage. I usually took pretty careful notes of the bands and where photo'd, but not every time :/ Glad you liked the shots :) Think you know/knew my two brothers, Charlie (RIP) and Richie (M*K*nz*e). Hope all is well withya these days.

    Cheers,

    Joy

  • Dude,Do U remember these Boston Bands,Sinful,LA Twist & Rockcandy!Check out these Sites,MyspaceDotCom/rockcandyrockcandy MyspaceDotCom/sinfulsinful MyspaceDotCom/latwist

  • Hi corndog1868...first, I'm a GIRL. And no, I don't remember the bands you mentioned. Sorry! I've been out in California for 12 years now.

  • Sucks gettin old eh? Actually I go back further than this even..I remember Barry and the Remains at the Salem Armory circa 64. I used to shoot 35mm at the original Tea party on Berkely st... Boston has always been the best scene.

  • Do I rate anything for remembering Barry and the Remains, AND Molty and the Barbarians? lol ... Thanks for lookin', and I saw that you faved my vid, too, so thanks again! Best, Joy

  • great pics, I was more of a 80 -85 scencester, but heretix, titanics, tribe were my bands to see in the mid 80's, and of course the turbines.

  • Thanks for lookin', sloaf! Oh, I was out there early 80s too...lol! I was 15 or 16 and sneaking into the Boston Tea Party (one of the buildings on Landsdowne Street...dont' know what's there now) YEARS and years ago...too many years...lol Cheers, Joy

  • Nice Job LJ,

Tribe, Heretix et al were staples of my post college days. Still have CD's but some of the other bands have drifted from memory til now. Enjoyed it!!!

  • Thanks for lookin', juiceman1965...glad I could take you down memory lane for a bit. Best, Joy

  • Wow, you and me must have been at a lot of those shows,. I was doing what you did then too. Sadly all my pix of that time was stolen by the movers that moved me to Colorado along with all our belongings. Thanks for the memories

  • Oh how awful about your pix being stolen! I would be inconsolable. I have everything I did from that era in archival storage cases (the slides and negs). Glad I could bring some happy memories for ya, Katie! Best, Joy

  • Thanks so much, Joy. The guys in Heretix were good friends of mine, as well as a bsnd called The Immortals. Have you ever seen them?

  • The Immortals, The Immortals...name rings a bell, but I'm not really familiar with them, Katie. I got to shoot that pic of the Heretix while I was working at Northeastern University in the Photog. dept...caused a ruckus because the school newspaper used my photo (instead of the staff photog's), and I was the admin. assistant there...lol! Good times, good times. We prolly brushed by one another once or twice in those days! Take care... Joy :)

  • WOW! awesome joy! :)

  • Hey look who's here! Thanks for watching, D, and that lovely comment. xo, Joy

  • Great stuff...Oh for those days! Anybody know where I can find any vids or music by "The New Models"

  • Thanks for checking my little vid out, MiataSteve! Sorry, hun, don't know where you can get anything on The New Models (great frakkin' band)...but maybe someone will see this and hit you up. Best, Joy

  • Wow, talk about peeling back the years. I was in the band "Madding Crowd" during the years in question, lots of gigs at The Rat, Green Street Station, TT the Bears... those were indeed special and crazy times, kind of like a party that lasted four or five years. Thanks for posting this and giving me a chance to step into the "way back when machine"... RIP Mr. Butch, The Rat, and, well, the whole damn scene...

  • Thanks for lookin', marcstck! I get a little choked up myself whenever I view this one. Good times, good times. Cheers, Joy

  • Nice Stuff! I was as that Band of Susans show at the Paradise. That was the night I fell in love with that band. They opened for Wire and blew them off the stage.

  • Yes!!! They opened for WIRE and killed! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments! (I was already in love with the band by that gig...lol...specifically Robert Poss...lol)

  • this is making me crazy. the memories! wow. that photo of tom from ball & pivot? omg i've been dreaming of seeing that video for "down" one day. *sigh* reminds me of so many other 80s/90s boston bands too. i long for v/66!

  • Hi Blaise...thanks for your comment...nice to know you enjoyed this. Everything about this was fun for me...and still is. Best, Joy >^..^<

  • Nice work!

  • Thanks for that kind compliment, imtubester. Best, Joy \m/>.<\m/

  • definitely lots of hair. hahaha

what year was the sonic youth show?

  • I need to check, but prolly 87 or 88. Thanks for stopping by, Jason :)

  • Good work = )

  • Thanks for the compliment and for stopping by, Paul. This was the 12-hour marathon one...and I'm not counting the actual photography or processing and printing back when I actually took these pix...I did it all myself, even the color printing. That would add on about another 100 hours or so. Sheesh...we do suffer for our art, don't we? lol Best, Joy

  • Yep. All artists have to suffer I guess = )

  • Very Cool... Penn Gilletes true passion is MUSIC.

Magic just pays the bills.. Right? :-)

  • The Tubes are from beantown? Tubes rule. Great Photos.

  • No, not from Boston...there are few national and out-of-town acts included (see my description)...the title of the vid really pertains to what was in the clubs at that time. Thanks for watching! I'm addicted to your "Die to Live" vid, and must watch it DAILY...lol Best, Joy >^..^<

  • Die to live is a Steve Vai song , I play the skeleton of it.

Search For the Steve Vai version and give it a watch. He really is incredible.

  • HEY! Great pic of you too! Love it. I didn't know you were in The Matrix! Hot Stuff! YAAA!

  • More fun times in photography school! Good times...good times. Thanks again, hun. J.

  • Hey Joy! Incredible pics girl! Your awesome collection has 80's written all over it and you captured it in all it's rocky, new waviness. This really made my night! Your the coolest Joy! Love IT! Great pics!!

  • Greg, thanks so much! I'm a little nostalgic for that time of my life right at the moment (wipes away a little tear...lol)...we just had one blast after another. It was just crazy times and such fun. Glad you liked this collection...and you know, as a musician, sometimes how difficult it is to get a decent shot. Muahs to you sweetie! Joy xo >^..^<
