I have had the iphone 4 and swapped it for the desire hd ! And must say i have no regrets there's very little i miss about iphone though i must say the screen resolution was much better on the iphone. But the desire hd is a great phone for browsing and since the gingerbread update it's mega smooth and fast. There is no way i would go back i think android is coming on leaps and bounds now and the desire hd is probably the best all round phone on android at the moment.

Why do these companies insist on taking on Apple? The only thing that concerns them is trying to be as good as iPhone.

Blackberry for example go their own way and make a quality device with no care or desperation what Apple do.

They try everything but cant overhaul them, so only one thing was left, make the phone even bigger. Mobile Phones were thought to be better when smaller not to long ago, but HTC is doing it's best to change that.

Hi there! I was a little disappointed with the quality of the Desire HD. The uni-body is outstanding but the plastic used are really really bad. They don't rest properly. The screen is OK, but don't expect too much, definitely no wow factor. The loud speaker is very tinny. I personally found the camera for still images to be outstanding but for the HD video recording is not up to the mark. And finally, the battery is mediocre. This is my experience with the DHD. HTC could have done it better!

@wafcarl Well, I do not have any problem with any plastic part of the phone, and the sceen is in my opinion better than the Desire's, which is really enough for me. Best screen I have seen. Colors are very very realistic. Check my other video, 720p test, what more can you expect from a mobile phone..

@wafcarl Ok here is some sense.For the plastic bottom part you only need to put properly as it is described in the guide and you won't have any issues, as for the speaker it is tiny don't forget you are on a phone but the quality is outstanding!, as for the screen the S-LCL is great! realstic colors all the way one of the best screens on those terms,but if you are looking for the wow factor from vivid colors you should look at some SAMOLED screens...
