  • AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR - these riots are just the beginning*

  • fair play, you got the band and the song name wrong and still got 50'00+ views.

  • Isnt this also a soundtrack? From some movie?

  • wall street disliked this

  • worst band name ever though. Apart from 'My Cousin I Bid You Farewell', that is.

  • @BORROVAN26 a band name means nothing at all to anyone you complete and utter cunt.

if you care about image and names more about the acutall talent and music and people, your just a poser and a sheep.

  • @KidsOnCrack33 fuck off you jumped up little scrote, how do you manage to extrapolate my opinions on the band (who I saw live a couple of weeks ago) based on my opinion of their name? Do you know anything about the sort of music I'm into? You sound like a fucking 12 year old who thinks they know it all just because they can look up new bands on the internet, ffs I've probably forgotten more about music than you'll ever know. Grow up and learn to spell you illiterate little tosspot.

  • @BORROVAN26 Aren't you just, you know, getting down to his level by doing this?

  • @Arquenemeh probably. but he started it, AND questioned my cultural capital, and that's srs bznz.

  • 1 person misclicked

  • colonal ghadafi disliked this

  • hallo is And So i watch you from afar

  • These Riots Are Just The Beginning is such a sick name for a song by a Belfast band. I listened to this every day for an entire summer when doing my history project on the IRA.

    So. Fucking. Sick.

  • @DANEo2o2 Yeah I always wondered if the song title is about the 1969 Northern Ireland riots. When the riots broke out everyone thought it was the worst things would ever get and it was the ending to the decades of tension that had built up, but infact it marked the beginning of a war. The Brit Army were deployed and the prov. IRA formed as a result of the riots. They were just the beginning..

  • hmmm, almost 2 years this vid is posted..

if I hear you guys broke up, i'm gonna be pissed.

  • @grizlyklaly Nah they're still very much together, there's rumors that they actually will be an opening act for The Foo Fighter's in their upcoming tour

  • @Secretaznmahn Lol i would soo much rather see this band. In an ideal world the foo fighters would open for them!

  • This BLOWS me away!!!

  • ma gf got me into these guys <3

    officially love love love

  • @KazKat92 ... lol wow ... what a horrible way to hear about such a great band ... i would be embarrassed lmao

  • @Elkigulwulv sorry and why is this a horribly way to get into this band? is there a problem here? what reason do i have to be embarassed. she played me their music and i liked it. happy days i then like them. i don't see the issue...

  • @Elkigulwulv wow, what a horrible overuse of ellipsis. I would be embarrassed lmao.

  • the name of the band is " and SO i watch you from afar"

  • STick this back on the setlist LADS

  • Just saw this band tonight and they blew me away. great music.

  • yeah, wrong the name of the band. "And so i watch you from afare"

wrong the title of the song. "These Riots are Just the Beginning"

    wrong u're on earth....

  • @frankpitale Completely wrong spelling of quite easy words you stuck up shit!

  • @carlosardinio1990

    yeah, baby.

why don't we talk in another language?

do you know french, or italian maybe?

    stupify me!

  • 3:12 to 3:30 ---> Epic stuff. Awesome band

  • Comment removed

  • @DarKTa0 sorry to correct you mate, but i think you meant:

    "0:00 to 4:49 ----> Epic stuff."

  • @lindenrob28 Indeed

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH This song makes me want to drop kick a fucking NUN!

  • I saw them on Positivus Festival in Latvia. What to say... I was truly shocked - how the sound can go so deeply in to me and make all soul vibrate. No one can imagine power of ASIWYFA without seeing them in live - sound level was maximum. In Positivus they rocked main stage and sound was so powerful that all festival area (5stages, large area) just started to vibrate. the sound through ears and through ground as some inner rhythm. after ASIWYFA the Muse played they songs, but the power wasn't

  • @ZoomMartiniClosed Yeah, I was there too. That was just as you say. Sounds power was just freaking awesome!

  • What a band, what a song!, i saw them in Holland last night and they blew my mind away, they're stage beasts to say the least!, can't wait to see them again at Pukkelpop

  • @ikhaathippies .. YES!..'' If it aint broke, break it'' gets played live in their current sets, but personally this track is a big favourite of mine... These guys are friends of mine and i was there in the Paradiso and i returned a few weeks later to witness the Heineken Music Hall gig also.. Awesome to see people on here big them up'!.. I'll be @ Pukkelpop too... you'll see me.. i'll be theone with a hammer i each hand....

  • @soundofthepolice77

    pukkelpooooooop

  • this is....oh my days there are no words to describe how good this is.

cant get it on itunes which sucksss :/

  • Okay. What dickhead disliked this?

  • someone is having sex with my ear ....

    .....oh thats the song!=D

  • hm, a comparison to Mogwai? Fair enough.

But wouldn't mind if people stop putting them in order of quality.

Why not listen to both bands, enjoy both of their stuff :)

  • i saw them live a cuple of weeks ago....orgasmic!!!

  • A lot of the music from 28 Days later was God Speed you Black Emperor. Canadian band. Really fuckin good.

  • The ticket calls them Belfast's answer to Mogwai..which is fair enough comparison..me likey.

  • @Cavan1984

Way better than Mogwai buddy! Well in my opinion anyway

  • class band. the part at 1:35 sounds like something off 28 weeks later, probly where theres zombies running

  • hey your right i think its that

  • They're like a more exciting version of Pelican.

  • a way more exciting version that it :)

  • Mehhhhh I dunno. Early Pelican was very very heavy and for a lack of a better term, lumpy. I really like Pelican a lot, but ASIWYFA has a little bit of a different approach than Pelican, so it makes it tough to compare the two.

  • @yusifer

    > They're like a more exciting version of Pelican.

I like to go with "It's like Pelican and Explosions in the Sky mated and the had a child that lacked the quiet introversion and heavy anger of both."

  • Rock.

  • I would like to be a little pedantic; I believe the name of the song is TheseRIOTSareJUSTtheBEGINNING.

  • Yes, and the band is calles And SO I Watch You From Afar (:

  • @UffieStuffieZott

    I can't believe I didn't notice that!

  • @UffieStuffieZott

    I can't believe I didn't notice that!

  • @thesenamesaretaken "... can't believe i ... " X2

  • *called

  • @thesenamesaretaken I believe that's the name of the original version on the bonus disc

  • @thesenamesaretaken I love pedancy.

  • @thesenamesaretaken they are also called And So I Watch You From Afar.. Not that that's important

  • @thesenamesaretaken and the bandname is And So I Watch You From Afar.

  • @thesenamesaretaken The band: And SO I Watch You From Afar ;)

  • well i also think they got the potential to become huge, but vocals are important to reach a bigger number of persons, not only insiders

  • nah first time i heard them the first thing i thought was they'll never get huge because of the lack of vocals, they will get recognised by music lovers though, like redkneck manifesto. (oh and im a music student so i know a lot about it so no smart arse remarks plz) by the way I LOVE THESE, BRILLIANT NEW SOUND AND THE RHYTHMS ARE GREAT!!!

  • i agree with the vocals! BUT a singer could ruin it altogether aswell!

  • Yeah, vocals wouldn't complement ASIWYFA's sound in the least.

  • @millerkmd. This is a smart arse comment!

  • @millerkmd cool story bro

  • @daveismad2 Anyone who says they won't succede due to a lack of vocals doesn't know enough about music to make that accusation.

GodspeedYBE. Explosions in the Sky. I rest my case.

  • then i should be happy :)

  • i hate myself, too late to hear them.

  • Russian Circles and God Is An Astronaut had sex.

This band was the result :)

  • SKILLS

  • Great band

  • This is the best band ever!!!

  • I saw them this weekend on pukkelpop Belgium and I fell in love with them!

  • mwahahahaha all ages gig on sunday!!!!!

  • Wat a deadly band !!!! they're so good they don't need vocals!!! Any1 know if they're coming 2 dublin anytime soon?

  • i just heard on phantom they are playing in the academy tonight with luck there will be more dates

  • Tnks (:

  • and live its even better! a band worth while checking out at festivals...

  • I agree, they just blew me away @ Pukkelpop. I'm so glad I saw them the first time they came to Belgium.

  • beautiful.

  • ASIWYFA for the win.

  • Wow... Genius :D
