I have been listening to Susan Waldman for a long long time. No doubt she can be annoying. She is extremely emotional. She cries...A LOT. But the bottom line is she did the first sports update and then threw it to Jim Lampley who was the first host for the first show on the first all sports radio station in the history of broadcasting. Plus, she really does know baseball!
Suzyn Waldman provides content and -whether you like it or not- style. She knows her baseball, and she is at her best when she is reporting. Her on-air camaraderie with John Sterling is pretty cool, too, as far as that sort of thing goes.
you know what? I like Susan...besides being a good color girl and may I add more knowledgeable than some of her male counterparts she is a real Yankee fan....you go girl!

Waldman is a fine broadcaster; the problem is she has to "bounce off" Jon Sterling and he REALLY does suck.
Waldman was much, much better when she was bouncing off Emmy Award-winner Charley Steiner who, unfortunately for us in NY, went to the Dodgers.
Steiner is a gazillion times better than Sterling and that reflected upon Waldman.
