No it doesnt. It looks fine. My sister who was a professional chef made a seafood chowder for me a couple of nights ago and it tasted great. It looked exactly the same as this chowder but she didnt use any potatoes.
@Stevethesearcher any chance on the recipe for it? I made a really good chowder for my family at chritmas but i forgot the recipe so one from a chef would be great thanks.

Looks fabulous!!! Love seafood chowder!! I would use haddock, scallops and shrimp! Yum!!
