I dont get it, why people teach situations like that. There are thousands of different situations in biliards, learning one shot is not the main thing. It's more then obvious, that you need to think about the cue ball position after your shot, before you shoot. How to get the white in right place, that's what you need to learn. So why is he not teaching people about spins and physics? That's the key to success, combined with self-confidence and concentration.
stop roll back or go forwards thats all this wideos is all about. nice try but this game is more than that. I knew about that hits when I was 12. BORING!!
And why do people talk during the videos they want to show? It wasn't that long, he didn't do anything amazing. He should have used more graphics, with arrows etc, like you can do in Picasa. People need to add more quality to their videos.
why is he calling this billiards, its 8-ball, billiards is played on a 12'x6' table with 2 cue balls and a red..... making a shot on is called "position" and wtf is stop shot, try calling it its proper name of "stun"
Considering you are calling a ranking player in the game a moron just proves how ignorant you really are. There is only one game called billiards, and this is NOT it. Billiards dates back to before the 17th century, I doubt this game is even more than 50 years old (100 at best). Look it up, you might actually smell what you are shovelling
Well, ignorance is bliss. Considering that you are a 'ranking player' (proof? no matter) and spending your free time trolling the internet, belittling people on YouTube, and arguing with someone called 'poopinvasion' just proves how SUPER COOL you really are. Congratulations on your life so far. Single, are we?
So far all I have stated is FACT, I have questioned him on the game, not his person, he might actually be a nice guy in real life, who knows? You however, started this name calling (calling me a moron for example) and I'm supposed to be the one "belittling" and "trolling"? I am also not the one calling myself "poopinvasion" whom is arguing with me about this. Marital status also has nothing to do with this, try and stay on the subject at hand.
i understand what he's doing but HOW DOES HE DO IT?! DRAW THE CUE BALL BACK?! WTF how does he control where the cue ball goes.. i just shoot and be like oh.. it bounced there..
You can hit the cue ball without english on either the top portion or lower portion of the center striking area of the cue ball. Hitting the cue towards the top is called follow because you are adding a forward spin to enable the cue to continue traveling forward after the object ball is hit. Hiting the cue on the bottom portion is called draw. This puts a backwards spin on the cue so when it hits the object ball it returns or "draws" backwards towards you.
Practice is what makes good players great. You think those Pool Pros would be anywhere near as good as they are if they didn't practice 6-10 hours a day? Yeah, even Efren would get rusty if he didn't play for a month.
i replied to iitem8. before it was removed he said something like "if your not born to play you will never be good" something along those lines. i was agreeing with locorosso. i could see how you misunderstood.
what are all the different types of pool, ( the games)? where can I find out how to set up the balls in the rack?how do you know where to put the cue ball after you have made it in to one of the holes and you take it back out?

i swear expert village jus picks any guy up off the street to make there videos how can americans play with such "precision" on a pool table with a cue the thickness of your leg try a real game like snooker most americans couldn't even get past a 10 break

Isn't snooker the fruity game where you can shoot any ball you want? What exactly is so great about it? The only difficult thing about it is that the table is huge, thus making it less of a cluster fuck with the balls.
maybe u might wanna check the rules cos i was never aware u could hit any ball u want, in pool no matter how bad a player is they can still win it takes real skill to play snooker maybe u should give it a try some day
i do agree that snooker is a difficult game . i tried playing it and it was totally harder than i thought it would be but I actually hate 8 ball. I like one pocket. its also pretty difficult game to me( when your playing experienced players).have you ever played three cushion pool. its pretty difficult as well. i actually play one pocket on a snooker table just for kicks. my accuracy got better really quick. the table is actually a 50 year old brunswick snooker table.
yeah expert village is pretty lenient with the word expert. but dude snooker and pool are equally difficult. without competition snooker would be harder but when you factor in competition it just means you have to play really fuckin' good pool to stay competitive because it's "easier". how many consecutive 147s has ronnie made? because earl ran ten racks. it's all relative
Thanks for the tips! I have to say, I doubted you at first - the production quality is lower than what you deserve - but I was quickly won over by the quality of your instruction. You know your content, and you're an excellent teacher! You break it down wonderfully - it's easy to digest for a beginner. Looking forward to your other videos!
thanks for this video, it helps a lot. when I play i dont really know how to make the cue ball end up like i want it to, now i know how to shoot it, thanks a lot!
Well, most of the people on expert village aren't experts. If they were they would be doing it proffesionaly and and charging for these "lessons". But he is giving good basic strategy information. Even though it is pretty much self evident if you know how to impart draw, follow, and stun.
If you can't understand that is a personal problem, you might have to get somebody to slow it down for you or some special ed teacher. Not only is their audio but visual too.He might not be an expert, but experts don't make every shot either.
hahaha.. Dude. Seriously. Don't teach people to shoot like you. You're missing draw shots that are complete jokes. I see why you only do beginner lessons...
in place where i live the 8 ball must go in the hole of the last ball (hole where u put the last ball). it easy to finish the game with 8 ball in any hole u like!
