I first heard this song30 years ago form a cassette my grandmother had called 'Get The Glory' - it was a musical. The gentleman who sung it sounded so powerful. I was 10 at the time and played it over and over again. These songsters sang this a little out of tune but the format was identical to the tape I once heard. The singer here does this song justice.
I would love to say hi to Mrs Turner. She was my singing teacher when I was at school but I don't know where she lives these days. I would just like to thank her - she was a fantastic teacher and I am still singing!
Awesome song that still stirs the heart today. God Bless the Salvation Army. Jesus saved such a sinner as I .

Great song. What a shame the Army didn't keep going with the 'Joystrings' concept.
