Anand Bakshi, my fav lyricist and Daan Singh, a protege of Khemchand Prakash of "Aayega, Aayega Aanewala..." fame. Khemchand offered him shelter at his Shivaji Park residence in B'bay. Daan Singh spent his career with AIR Jaipur. A child prodigy, he could reproduce any tune note per note. He lacked in marketing. Or, in lobbying, perhaps. He was active until the very last. Died June this year. He used piano and saxophone the way only he could. In the 70s, soul and succour to the heartbroken.

Sometimes I think life is unfair, cruel and doesn't give you enough recognition for your efforts, hard work and talent.

Yuan. Thanks a million. A lovely one! Zikr hota hai qayamat ka is also another melodious song from this film. Had never heard of Daan Singh until this film and another film I guess. Some say that Kalyanji or Anandji used a ficticious name for whatever reason. Not sure about that.
