why couldn't they...you know...keep the creepiness going through the whole commercial?
The cheery voice acting voice makes me feel like faded, shrunk and stretched clothing is really not the end of the world or of anything to be frightened.
When first saw this on TV I was like, "Is this a new horror movie?" I got so confused and then I saw that it must be a laundry detergent ad. I don't really like it. It creeps me out but it is very clever.
I think it's great! It's around Halloween...why not make a fun commercial like this? Bad for torture victims? Do you protest against every horror movie out there too?? Sheesh, get over it.
Can't decide if i love it or hate it, but it does its job....When you're in the store and you see Woolite you think about other detergents raping your clothes. I'll take the Woolite.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMMERCIAL!!! I am so offended!!!! The commercial makes you feel like the it's a preview to a rape or torture of women movie. I would NEVER buy this product as a result of this commercial. You should be ashamed!!! Extremely poor taste!!!!
@Raeni1 Really? Rape of women? You are like the people that see pictures of babies playing in the bathtub and automatically label it child porn. Get a life and get over yourself moron.
The clothes are clearly womens clothes. It is supposed to evoke the torture of women, that's the commercial's "allure." It is just a detergent commercial sure, just reinforcing status quo perception of women as the subservient sex class. Advertisements in general are usually sexist. I mean this ad is not shocking or that offensive on its own, but that it's just another grain in the sand of sexist advertisement I think is just kind of a bummer.
Woolite must immediately STOP this marketing campaign and apologize to torture victims because of the insensitive exploitation of their suffering just to promote your product. If you have ever seen and talked to a survivor of torture, you will know that your campaign is repulsive. Who did Woolite pay for this terrible marketing campaign and did the marketing company think that its repulsiveness would be a media "viral" success? Disgusting.
@jogferjohn I'm totally buying a bunch of Woolite after this. Awesome marketing. Will never use anything else again. This made me a life long customer. Woolite is fucking metal.
When I saw this commercial, I thought this was so awesome!
