  • 1:54 "i don't understand, tidak tahu" tidak tahu is indonesian Language

  • that fat grandma saids you are handsome trust me i live in thailand

  • baka. terimakashii is indonesian. this old lady is much smarter than you because she can use her imagination.

  • Durians (also called the king of fruits) are a delicacy in especially in south east asia region; it's somewhat similar to stinky tofu (HK & Taiwan), Balut from Philippines & some cheese like for places like France (and the list goes on and on). To some people these are absolutely delicious but to others, they'll probably puke.

  • he could have easily bought if he wanted to. just point to a thing and go for your wallet, they'll automatically get it!

  • 1:30 Translation: "What exactly is he saying?!"

  • law law means that you are good looking

  • Again, I feel for you man in the nicest possible way. Even in this vdo, I wish a person with perfect English/thai would pop up next to you.

  • As an asian-american that travels a lot. I love this vdo but cry 4 u. 1. common sense help a lot. 2. use universal "sign" language. 3. a few thai phrases go a long way. and last, 4. did you ever able to buy something decent food to eat. Oh, and u lost that whole cross-culture thing. But over all I do enjoy your vdo because I study cross culture.

  • that's what traveling is all about. i learned a lot because i couldn't speak the language. if i could speak perfect thai, it wouldn't have been the same. i can't wait to go again.... thanks for your comments...

  • The fat woman was telling him, "Handsome, handsome, handsome" referring to this Japanese man. This same fat woman thought that he is a Hong Konger.

  • this guy is making fun of people, asking stupid questions ...

  • Hello, cool video...thank you for sharing=) I must say tho...the older lady that gave you a thumbs up was saying:(your handsome) but didn't know anything else tho....take care.

  • when the big lady said "ba tate nie", she asked what country you are from and she also said that you are handsome when you thought she said low low. Its actually lor lor.

  • thanks for the thai lesson. appreciate it...

  • no problem. i can't believe you ate that fruit which is durian if u don't know already, lol..thats how my face looked like when i first tried it. i'm half thai but raised in the states.

  • i can't believe i ate it too. it tasted and smelled really bad. but i'll try anything... check out more on our website go-naminori. mahalo.

  • if u go there again, make sure you drink something from a bag instead of a bottle in those outdoor markets because they sometimes reuse bottles thats been thrown away before that was resold to them. durian are even banned from some restaurants there.

  • do they really do that? that's not cool. but thanks for the advise. and durian? they should ban that period. it's too stink. to this day, i feel like throwing up every time i think about that smell. yikes...

  • Yep, so its safer if they serve you drinks that are in a bag. Thats only in those kind of outdoor markets. They serve durian shakes here in the US. I took a sip of my friend's durian drink to try and I wanted to throw up the rest of the day. Your thai pronunciation is pretty good. I have a friend that used to live in Hawaii. They're uncle has a pineapple plant there.

  • i've never bought a drink in a bag before. i always get worried that it's dirty but i guess not. and a durian shake? no way!! get it away from me. they should make that fruit illegal in the US. haha.. thanks for the comments..

  • Thanks for posting this video. I am abit surprise you don't even duck when you see one. Duck is duck...

  • thanks for the comment but i didn't get that one???
