Adi Da Samraj: The Beginnings of Spiritual Conductivity

Adi Da has perfectly explained the supposed "egoic" nature of some of his actions. Truthfully, this can't be accepted by a thinking mind. The incoming bliss and love makes it understandable. I'm guilty of misunderstanding what he is talking about, but now that I do understand, it is incredibly freeing. It all is perfectly simple and beautiful. Such an understanding is not possible from the contracting and darkened ego.

Perhaps, but there are other just as realized gurus that have maintained ego as a finite strucure. According to transpersonal psychology, Adi Da is crazy(in mostly positive meaning of the word) but very wise and realized truely unique, as he has the ability to be egoic and transegoic and realized and enlightened at the same time. BTW, that energy thing he talked about - that's quiite universal - in China, India and I guess everywhere else, the energy channels are described quite like that.

The more you read of see of Adi Da, you realise that He is pretty unique! That's been my experience, anyway. I've been around many Masters and Gurus, and Adi Da was the one that blew me away completely. I really feel that He is the only one that was (is) really complete, and completely egoless.

It's hard to see that on video, but in person, what you see coming out of His eyes isn't ego, it's the heart of the Universe itself.

please understand what ego is. And then understand what this elf-contraction does to the body and the mind. Then realize how the body and the mind live without this self-contraction. A big ego, a small ego, no such thing. Ego prevents the body and the mind from being ALIVE as God intended/intends. Realize that you are doing self-contraction, ie that you are doing ego. EGO IS AN ACTIVITY NOT A SOMETHING. The results of this activity is separation, separative acts that is sin, devoid of God

Form is partial without emptiness... Therefore when an ego identifies with orm (his bodymind, and such), then he identifies with soething partial, not with all of manifest and unmanifest as the nondal or nothing or suchness.

In the absolute way you are right. Everything is not separate. But relatively speaking, identification takes place, suffering, activities, negation of the presen moment. Paradoxically, all is. A psyche has a capacity or quality to contract and self-differentiate or let go. Ego is a structure, and just as illusory as the rest of the relative world. The absolute, IS ness. "God and I are one, times moon times star times sun." - Saul Williams. An illusion can identify with other illusions!

Yeah it is complicated. Illusions play with illusions. But what is the witness if not these same things . . . witness melts into its play.

@MaBu888 Witness is not these same things, That is what makes the practice effective. All is witnessed 'over against' this consciousness, all these 'things' are seen as illusion, then, and the witness is not seen as another little droplet of the endlessly modified display of Maya, but as the Witness of all.

There are four main states. Gross, sublte, causal (witness), nondual. You're right of course.
