  • the keyboard is ludicrous

  • reminds me of my childhood

  • wheere did you get that mac.

  • the apple desktop bus port for the keyboard looks like ps/2

  • @matthew65536 It's more of a DIN cable that was widely used at that time. If you can find a Model M keyboard, it will likely have a port that looks identical. DIN evolved into PS/2 which evolved into USB.

  • Wonderful! I still have my classic 2 (bought in 1991 I think) in my loft, think I will dig it out now you have reminded me how great it was. System 7 still seems like an up to date OS, it was truly amazing at the time - especially compared with the MS competition!

  • Its the HDD has to warm up

  • My dream is get on. I've got only imac g3 which it's great! How many dollars you piad for this?

  • Ronald from harry potter?

  • Wow, the os is surprisingly modern!

  • thumbs up for the eMac <3 xDD

  • Wow. Apple nerd.

  • the macintosh classic came out at 1984 i think

  • @slicker41 Wrong,I remamber it is relesaed in 1985,or 1986.

  • @honam1021 If you are talking about the Macintosh Classic, it was released in 1990. If you are talking about the Original Macintosh, it came out in 1984.

  • @slicker41 no, It came out in 1990. In 1984 the original Macintosh was released

  • Yea, Microsoft copies from Apple. Actualy Microsoft STARTED Apple. Apple copied the sidebar gadgets from Longhorn in 2003, Apples widgets came out in 2005! The search was introdused into Windows with LONGHORN in 2003!! The Controle Panel has been there sence MS-DOS 1.0 Alpha!

  • @TheVista24 Apple's dashboard was a copy, but not of Microsoft's idea, of a Mac shareware application called Konfabulator. Longhorn's search attempts based around WinFS really resembled BeOS's BeFS more than anything, and first shipped in shareware and Linux desktops (with Beagle and Tracker) before Apple implemented Spotlight.

MS-DOS didn't have a control panel, and Microsoft didn't write MS-DOS, they bought it.

  • @TheVista24 That said, innovation happens by companies building off of each other. Microsoft's best innovation in recent years for me (easily) has been Aero Snap. Man, why can't the Mac do that?

  • @tapo it can. get the application called hyperdock. It costs money but i think u can find a cracked version out there somewhere.

  • @TheVista24 Lol, Microsoft STARTED Apple? Apple had already created The Apple and Apple II before microsoft even had a OS. All they did was write software for Apple.

  • @shakezulla86 Didnt Microsoft bail out Apple in the 90s?

  • lol that looks nothing like winders.. why are we looking at an old pc?

  • @koolfingaz This is no PC!

  • @EpicMan83 ya got that rite mate...

  • lol

  • I would like to transfer files (documents from harddrive / floppies) apple macintosh classic computer to a new PC. Any suggestions?

  • 4:28 "Macintosh HD" LOLOLOLOLOLLLLL x'D

  • hey isn't this the first Macintosh system to have the Mac OS boot screen logo?

  • it's sooo sloow

  • Oh wow take me back even further!!! I feel old lol

  • 4mb ram give it time lol

  • i love ur emac

  • try to install black ops and go online :D

  • 4mb's of memory,cooooooooool.lol

  • it takes a while to start up because the Macintosh Classic comes with the System6, so it performs better with 6 than 7

  • did you know when the "it is safe to switch of you mac" message appear, press the interupt key is the left air vent of the unit, the symbol looks like a mazda, you will crash it (the bomb will appear, tried it today and the same on boot up you will get the sad mac

  • D'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Tiny iMac to the left.

  • Beats Windows Vista

  • That is in amazing condition for its age! Have you been time travelling by any chance?

  • Sysyem?

  • @iamtheapplenerd Yeah, No Problem.

  • where can i get a copy of system 7 cas i have one of these but no os..

  • Great video, I have some of these (classics) but they need the capacitors re-soldered and the board cleaned, when i have time. They're doing the cross hatch pattern. You should do a short video showing ROM booting from the system 6, as it's fast and impressive :)

  • Extraordinary display of an Apple Classic computer. The machine is in great shape and furthermore, a very nice video about one of the first beauties of Apple's design, come to think of it, it is not the first one, but definitely a looker. Though, it's not a nerdy crush on the Classic, just a hail to its lines and curves, not to speak of the insides. Cheers. Great Video.

  • That is so awesome! A true mac user there!

  • whooooa that's old skool!! Nice vid, man! Can't believe it still works!!

  • Nice old-skool Mac! Great video, looking forward to seeing more!
