@waynesworld91 I don't have the guitar any more. It was about 1700 of our finest english pounds, the switch way at the end is probably the volume knob, the pickups were Bareknuckle Warpigs, finish was oiled ebony :)

How do you find the tension of the 25.5' scale with the reverse head stock? I own a Ibanez  RG Prestige 7 with a 25.5' scale and it needs more tension, so i was looking at going a 26' or 26.5' scale, I haven't heard anyone complain about these though.

the basic models are now arround £2,200 or $3,500 but it depends, you can get 6 7 or 8 strings,even a fanned fret model and they all haev custom bare knuckle pickups so there variable in price on that front and the cost of woods which are vertualy your choice.

yeah i know what you were saying, but you said 'how do you throw a passion' away, i didn't just throw it away it was a hard thing to do. I really enjoyed playing but when it hurts to play it's hard to find enjoyment and motivation to practice. If I get this stuff sorted out I'll be back to it in a shot don't worry :P I love guitar. For now I enjoy the piano and photography so it's not that bad :)

It sounded pretty dark with that guitar since it was a mahogany body...to be honest i'm not too knowledgeable about pickups, but if you shoot Tim at Bareknuckle an email telling him what gear you have and what tone your after he'll reply with a really helpful and in-depth answer, he seems very good like that!

where did you get your blackmachine and how much?

I ordered it in Jan 2007 and it came this April, Doug Cambell (London, UK) built it, it cost £1700 but now they are £2300 for the B7 i believe, and the wait time is probably over a year. Cheers, Thom.
