@OfficerNelson Yeah... vehicle detection systems would render this traffic light a little less useful than it can be on plain timers... but a very good work around I think could be that the light is red/green with no timer displayed until a vehicle is detected, then when one is, a short 7-10 second timer begins before the light changes.
Interesting idea, but vehicle detection systems render the countdown useless...
