The Viper engine was made by Lamborghini and that should tell you that 450BHP and 500 PFT is a lot. The tv series "Top Gear" has said many times that Corvettes are terrible, the only real good one is the new Z06 which I agree with.

Corvettes are built cheap and are horrible with over-all quality. These TV shows always say the Corvette is king but in actuality it isn't at all. The Mustang was terrible late 70's to 2000, then they finally made a faster Mustang. The Viper isn't even all american.

C6 is a sports car, Z06 and ZR1 are supercars, anything above (like lightfender) are hypercars.
