not surprising... the 01 s2k was a 2.0 w/ lower redline... place that Rsx with a 2.2 03-07 s2k with a 9000 redline and then you will have one hell of a race

@cargecko007 actually I think you have it backwards, the 2.0L s2k was the one with the 9K rpm redline, while the 2.2L s2k has an 8K rpm redline....I have driven both. Great cars, but not as fast as people make them out to be. The same goes for the RSX-S, the 05-06 is a bit quicker than then 02-04, just like the newer s2k's are quicker.

@yonkersracing yup i had it backwards (my bad) and they r pretty fast, ive seen people pull low fives stock and even mid fours with bolt ons from 0 to 60... if its fast enough to compete with a bmw z4 and a porsche boxter and win than its not that bad.

motor for motor is the RSX-S faster then the S2000? Because i've seen alot of RSX's take S2000's and I don't see how With the way these street races go, You would think Honda made the S200 with the RSX in mind when in fact they should have had the Porsche Boxter, BMW Z4, Audi S4,S6, Mazda RX8 etc.. so am i and a CAI basically puts the K20 right next to a bone stock S2K...the first race the RSX jumped a little but the 2nd was pretty dead even, i think the s2k started to pull at the end of 4th

@yonkersracing i have a bone stock 08 s2000 and a 03 rsx type s with a exhaust, header, and cai. I assure you the rsx is not faster. Its really a drivers race. The rsx is very satisfying to tune because simple bolt ons make alot of power vs the s2000. I dropped a full second 1/4 mile time off stock with just a intake, cai, header, and reflash (recently).

@mucura1 i'd beg to differ but there's really only one way to find out,,...the rsx in this video was CAI and 05 Catback exhaust only....not even a header, if he had a header, there is no doubt in my mind he would have pulled the stock AP1 S2K more. I really don't know how the AP2 matches up, I know a few owners with stock ones but apparently they don't want to run my 05 RSX-S w/ I/H/E....so I can't get you video to prove my point. I do believe the S2K might feel faster b/c it makes more power

stock s2k runs 13.8???lmao. show ME! look at my video. i had a type R in a hatch and the BEST i could do with good tires was a 13.9..and my civic spanked on s2k all day at the tracks. most were hitting 14.5s. my cousin has a 05 s2k with hks exhaust and aem intake and it cant even keep up with my stock supra. and he bought his s2k for 25k with 17k miles.

13.8 for a stock s2k does not happen often...they are more like low-mid 14 second cars stock, really...

I know I'm not saying everyone can run a 13.8 in an s2k, but their are ppl who have done it so it is possible. I said before to that the best I have seen with my own eyes is 14.2~

Ive run 13.6 in my S2000 with intake and exhaust, and for anyone out there that actually knows anything about an S2000 intake and exhaust are more for sound than anything...maybe good for 4-5hp
