asList just makes it "view" the array as a list? There is still an array underlying the implementation? Or does it actually convert the array to a linked list data structure?

Java needs a virtual machine to run a Java program in your computer, but most computers have Java Virtual Machine pre-installed, but Windows 7 doesn't come with Java pre-installed.

It supports multiple features (games, 3D, flash, etc). Java has grown substantially and run on nearly every machine (cellphones, pda's, computers, etc)
