I agree,with vampires you can't feel sympathy for them,but for werewolves,it's different,you can feel sympathy for the person that changes into a werewolf because changing into a werewolf causes the person great pain,his blood boiling,his entire skeleton is shapeshifting,and the person loses control,and blacks out,while the wolf takes over in both mind & body....until the next morning....when the person wakes up and finds out what he has done as a werewolf.
Who owns the rights to this show, anyone know?! If we bugged them a little im sure they'd spend a little to make a little. At least to change it over Digitally ya know. I think anything on film thats older should be switched to digital so that we never lose some great things that have entertained us like this show.

Glad to meet another fan. Loved that show!! Way ahead of its time. It had, what I think, is the quintessential werewolf "look". Now, if the studios would just get off their butts and DVD this awsome show, or better yet, start the series up again.

The guy with the pistol Eric has to kill him to overcome this curseby killing Skorzeny but can't in this scene because the change has begun. But as we find out later in the series Skorzeny is not the leader. Hope that helps.

I remember watching this show when I was a kid on Saturday nights. The line up was 21 Jump Street, Werewolf and than Crime Story I think. I really liked those shows.
The show will no longer be released on DVD. The show featured 2 songs that Sony did not have the rights too, and the artists would not give them the rights to use the songs for the show. The big problem is that the audio tracks are already mixed, so they have no way of separating the songs from the dialogue.
Once again we can thank the music industry for fucking things up.

No, it's not. It's coming September 1st. Any other "DVD" you've seen out there is simply some person burning their VHS copy to a DVD and selling it to people. That's not a licensed copy, made from the (hopefully) cleaned-up original film negatives, with maybe trailers, interviews/commentaries, other extras, and official box art... An official DVD release.

i am not sure, but i think he is a guy from a western series, The Rifleman, his name is chuck connors. The descript says this is from the 80s, so he is alot older (rifleman was played in the 60s) so... im taking a good guess that he is chuck connors

Yes this was an American show. It was one of the first shows on the then upstart fox network, along with 21 Jump Street, Married with Children etc. Chuck Conners was awesome as Skorzeny.
ONE of the best shows ever! Wasn't there only like 29 episodes? Nobody remembers this except for me and my dad as far as people I know. Even hardcore movie buffs that are twice my age can't recall this. I found a chap in the UK who burns this on DVD for a cheap price!

I remember watching this show when I was a kid on Saturday nights. The line up was 21 Jump Street, Werewolf and than Crime Story I think. I really liked those shows.

The show will no longer be released on DVD. The show featured 2 songs that Sony did not have the rights too, and the artists would not give them the rights to use the songs for the show. The big problem is that the audio tracks are already mixed, so they have no way of separating the songs from the dialogue.
Once again we can thank the music industry for fucking things up.

@convicsik That sucks! The musician can get good money if he accepts to sell the rights. But I guess they are not that smart. Is there any more dvds available to sell though? I would love to have this series in my collection!

@convicsik lucky for me I used my PlayStation 3's internet browser and put All the episodes of Werewolf into a playlist and used a DVD recorder which was hooked to my PlayStation 3 and recorded all the episodes to DVD myself.

Anyway, it looks more like they are dancing and then making love. Switch out the growling and the drama music and replace it with romantic music. Trust me, you'll see it.

Nope! you find out later that the werewolf who bit him wasn't the originator of the bloodline, he had a master also. Then the show ended without continuing his search for the cure.

No, it's not. It's coming September 1st. Any other "DVD" you've seen out there is simply some person burning their VHS copy to a DVD and selling it to people. That's not a licensed copy, made from the (hopefully) cleaned-up original film negatives, with maybe trailers, interviews/commentaries, other extras, and official box art... An official DVD release.

i am not sure, but i think he is a guy from a western series, The Rifleman, his name is chuck connors. The descript says this is from the 80s, so he is alot older (rifleman was played in the 60s) so... im taking a good guess that he is chuck connors

John J.York was so David Banner like Bill Bixby,The Incredible Hulk. Always on the run with a curse. Manimal was cool as well in the 80's.Werewolf really surprised me. I love werewolves and the transformations.

There's a free program U can download called "Joost" that has virtually EVERY episoe of this show available..
It also has a plethora of a lot of the 80's & 90's TV shows I grew up with on ther as well..
Trust me, it's the shit..

Love the music! In the 80s all these horror movies used so much electric guitar to seem sexy and dark. The music reminds me of "Fright Night". Was this an American show??

Yes this was an American show. It was one of the first shows on the then upstart fox network, along with 21 Jump Street, Married with Children etc. Chuck Conners was awesome as Skorzeny.

ONE of the best shows ever! Wasn't there only like 29 episodes? Nobody remembers this except for me and my dad as far as people I know. Even hardcore movie buffs that are twice my age can't recall this. I found a chap in the UK who burns this on DVD for a cheap price!
