My understanding is that the McAlester Prision Rodeo has been shut down, due to animal cruelity. I was there once as a young man and will remember it forever, this would have been around 1996 or so. At that time I don't recall many animals getting hurt, mostly inmates getting sent to the infermery. The inmates dident seem to mind getting hurt either, must be better than regular prision. I always ment to go back, it was a hell of a show. I've never seen men who cared less about being hurt.

I went to see this one last year, the only behind the wall RODEO in the world!
I've been a fan of behind the wall RODEO since Aug.30,1997.
